Very durable, perfect for outdoors.

After the 3rd time of using the umbrella broke.

We use it all over. Great for the two of us. Holds up well and we are two big people.

Umbrella poll is VERY short. Barely above the back of the chairs. Polls are/were scratched prior to use (probably has been used before) Does not sit comfortably in the sand. If one person only sitting, that side digs into the sand while the unoccupied side lifts in the air. Better for flat surfaces.Difficult to fold/unfold. May be due to the screw tightness, which is fine.

I purchased this specifically because it had a “shade” with the umbrella. I used it once at a picnic. It was not windy or even breezy that day. Maybe a 5 mph breeze every so often, but if I wasn’t chasing the umbrella, I was fighting with it to get it right side out after it would flip inside out with a slight breeze. My friend got so tired of seeing me struggle with it he tied some rope to the umbrella top and pounded the rope at two points into the ground like a tent. Needless to say, I won’t be using this again. The chairs itself were also not very comfortable as the metal frame was close together at the seat corners and were digging into my thighs. I’m kinda small 5’3” and about 125lbs. I can’t imagine this to be comfortable for an average size or larger person either.

This double chair with umbrella was sturdy and so accommodating for all our beach needs. We purchased 3 big items for the 4th beach trip and this by far was the best investment.Not only do you have a easy way to carry 2 chairs, it has a sturdy umbrella and an aluminium coated cool bag in the center for drinks. I am extremely happy with this purchase.
