UHU 45820 Max Repair Extreme Rubber Adhesive Glue, 20g

I purchased the UHU Max Repair Power, for the first time a few years ago to mend the soles of a pair of old trainers. After a few uses of these trainers, the mending still holds. All in all a good purchase and a good and suitable product for the use I required.

Bought this to stick down kiteboard deckpads. The deckpads on my Slingshot board were coming off, tried various glues and none of them lasted. UHU went on quick, dried. The Deckpads have been stuck solid for a good 6 months now. Really great glue :)

Uppers were fine, but soles worn, so I used this to glue on rubber sheeting (made especially for shoe repair) to soles and heels: Works well, but make sure you do good prep, and use in a well-ventilated area, as the solvent fumes are quite strong. • Rough-up the surfaces to be bonded. • Join and then separate surfaces, and allow a minute or two to become tacky. • Join and clamp firmly, clamping or as much as the join area as possible (I used several small stamps per shoe). • Allow to cure for at least 24 hours before unclamping.

I have an old pair of Cat boots that the sole had come off from but used this glue and clamped them together and they have held tight. So pleased to get more use out of these boots - it only used a fraction of a tube of glue and was well worth it. The boots move a lot and have a lot of wear and abuse so if it holds in that application it should be good for a lot of other uses. Follow the instructions, prepare the surfaces to be joined well and clamp together to dry if you can and this should do a good job for you. Highly impressed, 5 Stars.

This is my new "GO TO" glue, sort of a cross between super glue and UHU. It has worked on everything I have tried it on so far. Give it a go.

Very happy with this, I used it to put the rubber strips back on the laptop and it is strong sealed as long as you follow the instructions it works very well.

Ricordo la Uhu già da quando avevo 12 anni per cui si va dietro di 40 anni e non mi ha mai deluso per i miei lavori di scuola e hobbystico, la ho acquistata con urgenza quindi utilizzando il servizio Amazon Prime per poterla ricevere il giorno seguente per riparare le mie amate ciabatte da mare! Questa colla è un'adesivo molto forte e flessibile adatta per quasi tutti i lavori di riparazione sia interni che esterni, incolla materiali porosi e non porosi molta resistente sia all'acqua che alle temperature da -40° a +120°, dopo aver atteso 24 ore per essere certi che il tiraggio sia terminato si può anche verniciare! L'adesivo è trasparente per cui non provoca effetti antiesteticici e cosa molto importante che non contiene solventi e isocianati, quindi se ci respirate sopra mentre lavorate non ha effetti nocivi. Incolla materiali come legno, tessuti, pelle, sughero, metallo, vetro, ( plastica escludendo quelli PE, PP e PTFE ), gomma, ceramica, pietra, cemento e molti altri che non cito per dilungarmi. Come si usa: Innanzitutto bisogna pulire bene le superfici da incollare, quindi polvere, grassi, acqua ecc. ecc. Devono essere eliminate, fatta questa operazione spalmate con l'aiuto di una spatolina, stuzzicadente, lo spillo del tappo di una penna o qualcosa di simile la colla su una superfice e premete forte le due parti da saldare, una cosa molto importante che nei primi 5 minuti si può procedere ad una migliore posizione quindi lavorabile, e consiglio di utilizzare dei guanti facendo molta attenzione a non avere contatti con gli occhi e tenere ben lontano dai bambini! Attenzione: Quando esercitate pressione sul tubetto andate per gradi ed in modo soft perché in caso diverso continuerà a fuoriuscire la colla e prima di utilizzare il materiale riparato attendete 24 ore, si presta anche come riempitiva in caso che lo spazio tra le 2 parti sia eccessiva e non adatto a spalmarla! In caso di contatto con la pelle per eliminarla bisogna utilizzare acqua calda ed un normale solvente! CONCLUSIONE: Le mie ciabatte da mare sono ritornate come nuove e come rapporto qualità/prezzo (attualmente €. 8.30) rientra nell'ottimo considerando anche il servizio celere e affidabile di Amazon.
