For the price, it does everything. The lens quality is excellent, but the main advantage of this product is the simple, strong and comfortable design. Everything works as it should without a faff. I use it many times a week and to simply slip it on/off my head or raise it up/down during use is a pleasure. Can’t really fault it. The DA-5 is about right for general use. The DA-7 goes a little closer, but actually can be too close for average use. I have both. Hard to explain exactly, but just think before you choose the magnification.

Does the job, albeit with a challengingly low depth of field. It is not comfortable to wear. It is not supplied with a fabric bag to store it in when not in use. It would have been nice if you could at least put it away in the box so as to keep it clean - but you can't, not unless you want to re-adjust the headband down to its absolute minimum diameter. Which you don't because then each time you get it out you have to re-adjust it again to fit your head.

THIS WAS A PURCHASE TO REPLACE ONE THAT I HAVE HAD AND SUCCESSFULLY used for many years with no service problems, stupidly I loaded my car and left the OptiVISOR on the car roof, not finding it and realising my silly error I returned to home to find the remains laying in the street run over multiple times, it for me is an invaluable piece of equipment and would recommend this product for anybody that deals with intricate work !
