It really IS the last stand you'll need.
Among other things, I'm a steel fabricator. So I'm usually a tough customer for things like this... I look at material choices, mechanical design choices, hardware choices, and the execution of the finished product and compare them to what I'd do if I were building a thing myself. They used a decently heavy gauge tubing to build this stand without being outlandish. The telescoping sections are loose enough to be easy to move, but they lock down nicely when the knobs are tightened. The welds look good. All the female threads are steel riv-nuts. The adjustment knobs have spring pins for catching the holes, and nice big handles for tightening them down. The only thing might have done differently myself is adding a gusset on the inside of the upper arm joint... But now I'm just being picky. Structurally, there isn't a keyboard on Earth this stand won't hold up.Assembly was a breeze. There are a lot of parts, but that's because it fits in a deceptively small box for shipping. The two end frames come fully assembled, as does the cross bar. They attach to each other with winged screws that are long enough to catch a good number of threads, but not so long that you're screwing them in forever. The headphone hook can go on either side (and in fact, the end frames are interchangeable). I didn't try it yet but I think the hook would also go into the rear threads as well... Those appear to be for the security straps, which I've elected not to use. I can see why they're included and I can think of use cases for them. But those use cases don't match my own, so they're staying in the box.Another review mentioned an "almost tool-less assembly", and then went on to describe the wheels. Here's a fun fact: the included wheels are a category called "total-locking stem-mount". What this means is the brakes prevent both rolling and swiveling, and the casters mount to the frame by screwing the stem into the aforementioned riv-nuts. But there's a secret! If you engage the wheel lock before you screw them in, you can start the threads and then spin the whole caster around, using the wheel to tighten the stem into the riv-nut. It's much faster and works way better than the crappy stamped wrench they supply. So the assembly can be tool-less, but only if you know that trick. You're welcome. My copy of this stand is holding up a Yamaha P225b, and it fits just fine. It would be nice if the cross bar had a little more extension, but it's perfectly acceptable as-is. Definitely wide enough to sit comfortably. Even though the casters are small (~1.25" wheels) they roll nicely on carpet. I don't know how long they'd last under the worst circumstances (i.e. competitive high school marching band) but that's also not my use case. This will be parked in my home studio and moved when it's time to vacuum. I'm certain this stand will outlive me by a significant span of time.If it this had 4" wheels, I'd be perfectly comfortable giving it to marching band pit kids and wheeling a $1K synth across a parking lot, a track, a football field, and back a few dozen times a year. Considering how many actual miles I've pushed percussion and keyboard instruments myself, I can say confidently that MANY stands can't take that kind of punishment. If I were still in that business, this would be my new go-to.

Solve a lot of problems.
I upgraded my midi controller to a 61 key device and needed room for the larger keyboard. The Liquid Stand with wheels is perfect. I have a standing desk that won't accommodate a sliding drawer. But The Liquid Stand can be set up to roll out from under the desk for use. Both the desk and the stand can be raised and lowered so that everything fits perfectly, with plenty of room for my knees. The Midi controller can stay plugged in and wheeled under the desk and out of the way when I'm doing office work rolls out easily for playing. Great construction quality, easy to assemble, easy to adjust the height and width. The pics show my set up with the large keyboard in various positions. The last pic shows how the stand can be narrowed for the smaller keyboard. THANKS LIQUID STANDS!

EVERY SO OFTEN A PRODUCT IS PERFECT!
This is one of those perfect products.I found myself looking for a sixth star to rate every aspect of this stand.LEG ROOM: I have this stand adjusted to its widest (and one notch from lowest) setting to accommodate my Casio WK-6600 keyboard for "seated" playing and there is enough leg room to sit side-by-side with another person with plenty of room for both peoples' legs. You can also raise it up to accommodate standing while you play.EASY TO ASSEMBLE: I always keep an eye on the instructions when I am assembling something, but I really didn't need to here. It's nearly fully assembled as it arrives. Small parts (and there aren't many) come separated into sealed, labeled compartments of a clear plastic bag for easy identification and NO tools are required. There IS a small, included, stamped wrench to tighten the wheels but if you apply the wheel locks before installing, you can twist them into place without the wrench. (I did use the wrench for a final "snug" once the wheels were installed but realize I didn't really need to.) All screws have large, plastic heads for easy hand tightening. Assembly was a breeze!STURDINESS: This thing is built like an army truck and is clearly way stronger than it needs to be to handle ANY keyboard I have ever encountered. Welded seams are complete and smooth... even attractive. I did not sense the slightest degree of wobble or rattle... even when rolling it around on my carpet. The wheels turn smoothly and the wheel locks are both strong and easy to engage and release.SECURITY STRAPS: I have never been a big fan of the "strap" mounting technique for keyboards, but the whole industry seems to use it for its universality. Every brand and model of keyboard is designed a little differently on its bottom so they have to use a method of mounting that can be used with all of them... so I guess the straps make sense. (I really think the keyboard industry should work on a standardized mounting lug configuration so they all attach securely and in the same way.... but this is not "Liquid Stand's" fault.) Given the vast array of keyboard designs they set out to accommodate, the straps seem to work well and they are very strong. Also, the included, peel & stick, non-skid pads (that are easily affixed to the top rails of the stand) do an excellent job of holding the keyboard in place. Even if there were no straps, you'd have to bump the keyboard VERY hard to knock it off the stand.SIZE ADJUSTMENTS: Both width and height can be adjusted in seconds. There is a spring-loaded knob for each adjustment that just needs to be twisted loose (counterclockwise) a single turn... and then pulled away from the frame to allow the square telescoping tubes of the frame to be pulled further apart or pushed closer together. There are drilled holes in the inner square tube that the stem of the knob snaps back into to lock it into place. Once the proper adjustment is achieved, a quick clockwise turn of the knobs snugs everything back up so there is no rattle or wobble in the stand.HEADPHONES HOOK: It can be mounted to the left or the right (or removed entirely) and attaches with a single plastic-head hand screw. Again... no tools required. (Note: If you choose not to use the hook but don't want to lose it, you can mount it backward and it tucks away neatly under the keyboard to store it.)OTHER POINTS:- In addition to the wheels, leveling screw-in feet are included as an option for anyone who does not plan to roll the stand and prefers to keep it stationary. I don't really plan to move my keyboard much but I chose the wheels because they lock so securely... yet I maintain the option of unlocking them if I ever do need to move it. With the wheels installed, I put the included feet in a small zip-lock bag (along with the stamped wrench) and zip-tied the bag up underneath the keyboard where they are out of sight but stored for future use, if ever needed.- This unit is so strong and rolls so smoothly, I am seriously considering purchasing another to mount a work surface on to create a strong, rolling work table. With a creative mind, this stand could be retrofitted to a myriad of things from tools like an electric miter saw or drill press to other electronic devices like amplifiers or heavy computer printers.PRICE: I almost bought a cheaper imitation but I would have only saved about $20 and I am so glad I decided on this "Liquid Stands" model. It's worth twice its price, easily, in my opinion. If you keep an eye open, you may find this stand on sale that could save you a little money. I have seen a sale price for this on Amazon appear twice in the last three days. As of the writing of this review, the Amazon regular price is $72.00 but I bought mine on a one-day sale for $66.25... not a huge savings but it got me almost $6.00 closer in price to the cheaper imitation I almost bought.SUMMARY: As I said at the outset... This stand is quite simply "perfect." I have bought hundreds of items on Amazon ranging from "junk" to outstanding products but this stand is, by far, the most impressive of them all.So, if you're thinking about ordering this item... stop thinking and just order it. You won't be disappointed. Besides, if for some reason you didn't like it, you could always return it for a full refund but I think that is VERY unlikely.WARNING: Don't be swayed by those who gave this one star and a bad review. I think they are posted by people with interests in competing stands or who have some other agenda. The comments they expressed don't even remotely describe issues that are possible with this stand. Trust what is being said by the vast majority of those commenting... that it's 5-stars in every regard and impressively designed and manufactured.

Awesome keyboard stand
I absolutely love this keyboard stand! It is sturdy and was easy to put together. It adjusts to any height or width to fit any size keyboard. The wheels are so great! I can now move the keyboard back and forth from my desk where the recording studio software is and back to the stand alone amplifier. I can belt my keyboard on and no chance of it falling off. I’m impressed! Not sure why I waited so long to get a new stand. Love it!

So-so till I got help
Really easy to assemble and move around. Initially felt unstable when I was playing, it kept juddering. A local handy person got it stable (my grip wasn't powerful enough) and since the it's been fine. This is the best of it's type.

Well-made, fantastic and sleek!
As with other reviews - I echo the same. This is a fantastic product. I love its low footprint in my studio and versatility. I can wheel my controller around as needed and there’s not awkward fixed stands in my room. Highly recommended!
