It works better than the handlebar button
Don't know it I just installed a "Cheap" starter or not... but this button works when the handlebar button doesn't.

Push button starter
Quality seems fine. A bit pricey tho. $28 when most are around $15. I paid the extra $10 because it was the only one I could find with the wrinkle-black frame and chrome button.

Fit my 1992 FXSTC with no issues. Tested good. Nice feature to have to bypass most of the starting circuit.

I get the click of dread when my old bagger is cold. This button eliminates that issue.

Installed worked great for two daysWent to get on the bike turned the key pushed the button it got stuck and kept cranking melted my battery, and now since removing and replacing battery the bike just cranks immediately when connected to power this has cost me so much money thanks a lot
