Champagne Gold LOVE IT! Arrived nicely packaged and well protected. The colour is a nice gold, not a brassy colour, see pic of real brass item beside it for comparison. Bit pricey, but I think it's a case of you get what you pay for. It actually toasts the first time around!! I waited a long time before ordering this but I'm glad I did.

Absolutely stunning toaster. This colour is timeless and will coordinate in almost any kitchen regardless of color or metal choices in your kitchen. A very elegant look for a retro inspired appliance.

It's pretty strong with the settings. I freeze all my white bread so that it lasts. I set this at 2.5 and defrost and it toasts both sides perfectly to what I want, while still retaining a moist inner bread. I tried to set at 3 but there was a bit of burning on one side. I guess it depends on the thickness of the slice.

My hotel room in Copenhagen had this kettle, even though it's Italian, not Danish. I fell in love with it, so I had to have one of my own.It's expensive but so stunningly beautiful. The switch is an old-fashioned mechanical fail-proof device - no lights or choosing temperature options, but simple and clean. Doesn't beep, boils quickly, turns off by itself. Worth the money.

Not only a fantastic look and finish made with real metal parts!! SMEG toasts the bread so evenly and perfect, I feel like I am at a restaurant!! Solid value for dollar!! I highly recommend.
