When I received the shade, I noticed that the feet were not set at a 90° angle but what was more concerning was the soldering on one of the feet was cracked. By the time I got it mounted to my deck by a handyman because my deck was too thin, it was beyond the return time before I noticed.I reached out to the company, and they sent out a new piece immediately. I was surprised and received it within two weeks. However, the soldering was even worse and was completely missing from the oiece. I complained that if you’re going to send out a replacement part, at least look at it first. They apologized and immediately sent out another one. It arrived less than a week and was in perfect condition.Overall, the product works well, but the stars really represent the customer service

We looked at a lot of different privacy options before settling on this. Our wrap around porch is not very private on one side and this did the trick. The other day it was windy so I let it roll up into the casing and the roller was smooth. Very happy with this purchase, it will get use this summer for sure!

Very easy to install, and pulls out either side with ease! Just what our family needed to cut off our noisy neighbors! And you cannot see thru it whatsoever. Great alternative to closing in our deck with the price of lumber these days!

The top of the shade sags a little.

I bought this double sided awning/privacy screen as my dining room and 8' x 12' deck face my neighbors with the identical deck, only 20 feet away, so privacy is hard to come by inside and out of the house. The first thing I will mention is that I mounted this to the deck boards using standard 1/4" bolts, washers, lock washers and nuts.I read some of the reviews before installing and several people mentions that the anchor posts did not stand plumb or perpendicular to the surface, so they used washers to remedy this perceived issue. When mine arrived that was the first thing I checked for and sure enough, mine were the same. These reviews are wrong; the anchor posts are designed that way to keep the top of the screen tight. Just wanted you to know this. I've only had mine up for a few days but like it already. I would add, if installing on a wood deck, it would be wise to have an assistant. I installed mine alone and used a vise grip to hold the head of the bolt while I crawled under the deck. Overall, a great way to gain a little privacy when neighbors are close and sometimes nosey!!

These are really good quality & should last some time. Does it’s job by eliminating anyone viewing in. Nicely secure in two ways - bottom & middle hinge. You do need to drill the posts in to keep it secure.

Bought as an anniversary gift for my wife. By the time our anniversary came around, realized it wouldn't install how/where I needed it. Reached out to Amazon who directed me back to the seller. They were supposed to contact me within 48 hours, but I haven't heard a thing. Too much money spent for something I can't use and for no response from the seller

product works fine but I can't get anyone to contact me about the broken handle. I just need a replacement handle...warranty or pay for it...I don't care. I just need one or the product doesn't work.
