Great to go with a knife as a gift

Bought it for a gift for my husband, but he hasn't started using it yet. Maybe when the weather is so that we can get outside he will be inspired to pick up whittling

I love the explanations and projects. Also, it's nice that this covers both crafting fun stuff and survival stuff. Great read if you're interested in whittling, wood carving, or survival.

Fun and informative book.

A little more basic than I expected. I bought it for a 'grandson' who loves knives and looked through it before giving it to him. I wasn't that impressed with the 'projects' presented, neither was he from the repot I got.

Excellent condition

I really should have bought a book on carving wood rather than this, its probably ok if you're in the Cubs or guides and spend a lot of time in the woods. I would have preferred photos against hand sketches, also a number of projects seem overlong for little benefit.

This is a great practical book to get anyone started down the whittling road.Useful and inspiring.

My 9 year old loves this book. He loves the step by step guides to making different things some of which are with vegetables and not wood! 👍
