GREAT! Budget Snare drum! can be used as Timbale also.
I was looking for a snare drum that I didn't have to spend out on 'for now' and this looked the part, when it arrived I was taken aback at how good it actually is! good sound, very tuneable, comes with tuning key and small wooden sticks (not adult sized, so make sure you buy some 5As if you don't already have them).Finished in a 'interesting' Pearl green coating, which I personally love, very 60s kit looking.The Skins have taken a good beating, I was half expecting to have to replace them with upgraded heads asap, but they are holding up no problem, not a mark on them so far, the top one being white and underneath see-thru, I'm not even going to bother and just leave them as is.The Snare is the latch on/latch off type, and needs to be tightened both sides to your liking coming straight from the factory. For me using it in my home this style of snare wire set up is better as far as keeping the noise levels acceptable-ish to the neighbours LOL.If you want to use it a Timbale or even buy two to use for a Semi Pro set up/practise set up, then just unlatch the snare wire and/or remove it completely to use as a permanent duo in your drum space.Also comes with a fetching adjustable white strap, the woven synthetic kind, with two metal clips to attach the Snare, if you were to use this for a marching band or so on.

Ok for the price. But don't expect a great sound
It certainly looks the part. And it's an ok sound with the snare disconnected. But use the snare and there's an annoying buzz that carries on way after you've hit the skin. Tried adjusting and re-adjusting, and unfortunately it makes no difference. But for the price - and it is cheap - I can't complain an awful lot.
