The cost and trouble of getting these installed makes such failures painful. In addition the rear view camera input did ...
UPDATE: revised as signal acquisition improved by moving antenna to under car in a more central location. Sensor position swapping also figured out (you have to power cycle and wait for sensors to report back in for change to be reflected). Now if I can get the rear view camera to work... Brown vs blue wire, hmmm... Anyone's guess based on the instructions. As background, my infiniti G35 TMPS batteries were finally appearing to fail after 10 years of ownership. I decided to get this system so I could actually monitor pressure instead of just getting a warning light. In full disclosure, I purchased this system and it sat for a year before I got an installer to actually perform the install. Two of the four sensors do not give reliable readings (1 is sporadic, the other has never produced a viable signal so could not be learned). Anyway my main issue is that two failing TPMS sensors in a year's time is unacceptable. The cost and trouble of getting these installed makes such failures painful. In addition the rear view camera input did not work. I contacted customer service and they insisted I hooked up something incorrectly. Suffice to say I have far greater electrical engineering expertise than the folks that built this device but I do not have time to debug their product. They would not provide a replacement for the unit and of course I was far passed my amazon return period (my fault there). The manual is very poorly translated and the support people are nice but do not really understand English that well either. Long story short, I'm now looking to replace the entire set up.I would recommend you save yourself the headache. Even if it works out of the box for you, I can almost guarantee you will be replacing sensors much sooner than you would like to.

Think about it...
I found a problem from start. the sensors (senders) random they lost connection, that is a problem when you are following instructions on your GPS, and you almost there, in which in seconds you a waiting for instructions to turn.... then the sender disconnect... the GPS screen is replaced by the alert fro the system that lost connection, no choice but wait for the set display time, I think is 15 sec, that 15 second might be critical... thens some times you clear it and 5 sec later another sender might lost connection. Is nothing you can do to stop it.Some times might go fine for days, and all work great, I like the system, is informative and looks great. Impressive. But is a problem.the company did not offer real help, they wanted me to replaced, is nice but, anybody have any idea what took to install it? maybe hours plus 15.00 for installation for each wheel on a pro shop, then another 15 to put it back? and 15 more to re install it when I get the new one?I just refused to to do it, works and I will have to leave till break for sure.I tried to explained that I believe was the sensors because is not happening to all at the same time, is one at the time, every once a week? if it was al at the time then I could think is the main unit but it was no support, their solution was not aceptable. One option was to spend my money again and buy another new unit and return this... but again will cost me.I just live with this.

Works as advertised so far....
Update! See my latest comment for new news. I am upping to 5 stars.I installed it to my Sony XNV head unit. Only snag is hooking up the Rear View trip line to my Sony's wire made the unit buzz and the Rear View camera would not work correctly. I will circle back and find another spot in the harness for the backup lights. Got to get that to work or otherwise, I will have to disable the "in motion safety" feature of the Sony unit.Currently I plugged it in to the AUX video port but that image will not come up when the vehicle is in motion. The other thing is learning how to get the Learning Codes to respond. Took me about a week to get those things to respond correctly per the instructions. They did not send me a manual. I asked and they sent me a pdf.The in tire sensors look to be the same ones on the Mini Cooper and BMWs, at least they look the same and use the same frequency. They are available from a company called Orange in Taiwan. At least they look identical.I had the sensors installed by my Mazda dealer, they said they would not help get them working.I put the unit in the passenger kick panel and the antenna in the driver kick panel.I had to buy another video cable because of the lengths involved under the dash. Thanks

Nice idea. Spotty performance.
Nice looking unit and agreat idea. I like the fact that it shows in my aftermarket receiver unit (no navigation) It hooks through the rear camera. However, it is unreliable. I think it must be in the tire sending units, and I have not found replacements there. I will remove if I can't find cross reference sending units from another mfg. It will show no signal randomly, but usually on the same two of the tires. Right now I have it disconnected and then the back up camera does not work.Nice unit WHEN it works. I can't recommend due to unreliability.

Not recommended, potential waste of time.
Potentially a very good product. I had no luck with a first set in making any sensor work and had issues with the display with very little useful support from the seller. With my car dash/interior in pieces they offered to "repair" the part with me sending it back to China, I thought it more prudent to give them a second chance (assuming a bad unit) and orderred a second complete set to save on down time with my car. It also had issues with only two sensors able to connect after countless tries to learn them. Wish this product was simple to install and worked, getting two sensors out of a potential 8 and two full sets of equipment was poor. Much valuable time and expense wasted.
