The RA/VL, RA 2950 thermostats are gas thermostats with an impressive 10 minute response time, making it the fastest response time of any mechanical radiator thermostat currently available. Installation via snap closure is easy and requires no tools. Self-regulating thermostatic valves save a lot of energy compared to manual valves. Studies show that the energy saving potential of switching from manual valves to thermostatic valves is between 30 and 36 Percent. If you upgrade from a thermostat over 15 years old to an electronic thermostat, you can save another 23 Percent. The newer the technology, the greater the savings.
