Nifty little item!
I have tried out my Kitchen Craft hamburger maker and was really pleased with the result. I was a little heavy handed with the quantity of mince so ended up with 2 dinosaur burgers I made myself! But next time I will know better and either make them slightly smaller or just have the one! The burger maker really compresses the mince well and keeps the meat lovely and moist when it is cooking because it doesn't fall apart. it will be great for the summer or even for mums with burger loving kids which is probably about 95 percent of the population! It makes lovely wholesome burgers for a fraction of what you would pay for frozen ones. Last time I used it I made burgers for me and packed the rest in the freezer for whenever. I think next time however, I will open freeze them, then place the wax discs between them and then put them in a freezer bag. They tended to get a bit squashed down as the meat was still soft so will probably have to defrost the whole lot so will wait for bar-b-q time! The burger maker is well made, compact, easy to wash and a great price. Well worth 5 stars.

Simple but excellent for making burgers
This product is very simple and makes great burgers easily. Trying to shape and press burgers together without this has always been a bit tricky resulting in burgers that fall apart a bit. I used to use flour to hold them together and stop them sticking to each other but that made for floury tasting burgers. With this you put a dollop of your mix in with a wax disc top and bottom, press it and the result is a burger. One of the great things about this is it comes with the wax discs and this means it is really easy to store them in the freezer. I found that you can separate them quite easily when they are frozen so the discs work well. The burger size is pretty good. If you are hungry eat 2 burgers! As others have said it all comes apart and is easy to wash. I didn't get any problems with the mix squeezing inside it either (like some people have mentioned). When you first use it you tend to try to press the heck out of it but that is not really needed to compact a burger. I have made beef burgers so far but think it will be great for making veggie burgers which I always struggle to shape. I also think cooking burgers that have been frozen first (on the grill) helps keep them together and lets the chilli flavour get stronger. Nice when something so simple is so useful.

great device for making 1/4 pounders
This gizmo is a lot of fun and practical if you want to run up a load of 1/4 pounders for the freezer. It is easy to use, quickly produces a perfect disc in conjunction with the wax papers and every burger looks the same. Compression is important in making burgers, it helps keep them together and reduces shrinkage, assuming you are using good quality ingredients. The device is probably worth 5 stars, but I have removed 1 star because it takes a bit more cleaning than it would if it came apart - a pre-soak is a good idea to ensure complete food safety. Other than that, it is something I can recommend and will use with my catering students. There are other products on the market that cost more and may be better, but, overall, this is pretty good and turns out a professional looking burger every time.

Easy, Quick and Effective!
I bought this burger maker a couple of weeks ago, as did a fair few of my friends. We've all found it to be a brilliant product which is quick and easy to use. The burgers created are well compressed and hold together well during cooking. It's very easy to adapt the recipes provided to suit individual preferences, we've had lots of fun experimenting with spices etc. I suggest adding a good dash of Reggae Reggae sauce to the mix as it really seems to enhance the flavour without adding heat. I'd recommend this wee gadget with no hesitation whatsoever. It's very easy to clean, and small enough that it's easy to store.

Great little gadget
Great little gadget, makes a decent patty BUT the meat goes inside the device and how are you supposed to clean it properly, you can't take it apart? Also your hands get all mucky from handling the mince, so the bottom lid being smooth isn't ideal, it needs to be grooved so you can get it off. Maybe when they do a redesign, they could take these things into account, they are the only irks I have with it. Otherwise, a good gadget.

A fantastic press that just works.
Having tried a weber burger press, which was diabolical i might add, bought this one as a replacement. Hands down this is infinitely better, the press spreads the patty nice and easy, the wax discs make handing and separating the patties out of the press a doddle. Plus the wax discs make it easier to handle when placing on the BBQ and handy to keep the patties separate if you decide to free them. Cleaning is made easy as the device can be broken down easily enough and placed in the dishwasher with no detriment to the quality of the product. I really enjoy using this product, and couple that with a burger recipe book you'll always have burgers that people enjoy eating!

Great gadget
Wasn't sure if this was worth buying, I usually make burgers by hand but sometimes they fall apart during cooking. A friend said buy a burger press but there's so many versions, couldn't decide. Bought this one because it was an 'all in one' way of making burgers, you lay the paper wax disc in press, push in meat, lay another disc in bottom and place on top, turnover and press then push out the burger - it's surprisingly satisfying! I tried to make a video but you need two hands to push the burger out, next batch I make must get an extra pair of hands to film. I bought this size rather than the quarter pounder, it makes ordinary sized burgers which is perfect for my son but they do shrink a little so when cooked slighter smaller than an average burger bun. The whole thing comes apart for cleaning which is very important, I was worried about pulling it apart at first because of the spring inside the handle but it's fine to do, it doesn't break. Very happy with my burger press!

Allora e semplicemente. Prezzo onesto. Imballo, trasporto e recapito sono "egregi". Un buon acquisto. AMAZON "BENE".

The paper are garbage, no difference than using toilet paper, glued to the burger after 2 hours in the fridge.
