Nice looking but needs operational upgrade
The unit looks great coming in different colors and is easy to read. I gave it a low "Accuracy" rating because the unit does not read properly for the battery bank it is attached to. I have 6 brand new lead-acid batteries on my 48v Club Car. The battery bank is charged to 100% capacity also indicating on the capacity monitor. When switching the key on, the capacity on the monitor drops to 89% consistently. It would be ideal to be able to calibrate the capacity monitor to my battery bank so that it learns what 100% capacity is for the particular bank of batteries it is attached to. I now know that to this monitor, 89% is a full charge for my battery bank. Unfortunately, calibrating the monitor is not currently possible, I do not believe because the Capacity Monitor does not come with any instructions or manual.

Good voltmeter - Terrible percentage accuracy
The volt meter function is not terrible in my unit as you can see, only 0.3 volts difference. The percentage function is useless so you may want to use the chart I included. Installation was simple as long as you measure correctly.

works great
easy to install with some electrical knowledge need to send instructions for the people with no background but other than that it tells me what I want to know

Doesn't give a clue on how to install and barely a clue about the actual battery level
This item has nice features and does SEEM to provide a decent clue about the power left in the battery. It has never shown 100%; the starting level at full charge is usually around 90%. The percentage shown goes down and up as the cart is driven.I ASSUME that we need to just compare the level shown when the cart is stopped. Given that there was absolutely no information provided about the device or how to install or use it, all we have our own assumption or clue about what the device is telling us.The best news is that the device didn't cost much and has nice features. I wish I had any confidence that the device gives an accurate indentation of how much longer the batteries will last.

Great combination of features.
I chose this voltmeter for my golf cart because I liked the On/Off button (so I hardwired it), the backlit display, and the ability to switch between battery percentage and voltage readings. Instead of cutting into my dash, I made a face out of some plastic to fit the space I think is for a radio to mount the meter into. The meter is small but easy enough to read. I checked it against another volt meter and it read within .1 of a volt. For reviews criticizing it because the readings fluctuate when you accelerate, think of it like the Instant MPG reading and the Average MPG readout in your auto. When you accelerate, the Instant MPG reading goes down, then levels off when you coast. To get a true measure of percentage or voltage of your batteries, check it while sitting still with no load on the batteries. Great deal for less than $15 IMO.

It works
Easy to install and read. It never shows 100% charged but maybe that is accurate.

You get what you pay for
Installed easily shows you amount of volts of the battery but when it comes to reading the percentage of battery life it shows 0% even after a full nights charge. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!!!!!
