Van Zyverden's Harvest Blend Onion Sets of red, yellow, and white onions are the perfect addition to your summer edible garden. Onion is easy to grow and is perfect for cooking. Plant onion in the spring after the ground warms. Plant in a sunny location in well-drained soil that has been loosened. Control weeds with frequent shallow cultivation. For dry onions plant 1-2" deep and 3-4" apart. For green onions plant 3-4" deep and 1-2" apart. Harvest when fully matured and air dry. To plant: Dig a hole 1" deep. Set bulbs firmly into place, pointed ends up. Replace the soil covering the bulbs. Water well after planting and during dry periods. Edible Garden to table freshness!
