The cold water is nice and cold and hot water hot enough for soup or tea.I have a suspicion that people who have a problem with the cold or hot water have not read directions. It says not to plug in before drawing water through hot side, and like anything with a compressor, it should just sit for at least 4 hours (I always let them sit over night) before turning on. This is because the liquid and gasses need to settle before they begin circulating or there may be bubbles in system, leading to poor circulation and poor performance. The hot water side can be damaged if operated without water.That being said, the unit is great. I removed the “splash guard” and use it with a zero water filter. Once again, read instructions. No need to manufacture a gasket with leftover foam and tape to make it work…. Just read.Hopefully it lasts because it are is nice having icy cold or steaming hot water on demand.

Other than it being a touch loud while we sleep i have no complaints. Cold is cold. Hot is hot and it seems very good quality for the price

I'm very happy with this water dispenser all around. It produces cold water, it is quiet at night, durable and built well. It looks nice in the kitchen. The buttons are easy to press, but the hot/room temp buttons requires you to slide before you press so that littles can't get burned. I haven't used the hot water portion of it so I keep the hot off and use the room temp option often. I buy the jugs of water at Publix and return them for store credit for them to refilled.

I bought this unit Feb 2022. Cold water is "cool" but not cold. We never really used the hot water feature much, but it worked. Jump ahead to Feb 2025 and I walk downstairs to find a puddle on the floor. Take the bottle off, clean up the mess, put a new bottle on, same result. Guess I was spoiled, Previously I had bought a used unit from my local svc provider for like $15, had it like 10 years. Spent $119 on this one for it to only last me 3 years.

The media could not be loaded. Was excited to use this! I heard dripping. Immediately pulled the water jug off. And unplugged. Water was coming down in the back inside. Never got to use it. Now idk if I want to trust this company and get a new one or get one from somewhere else cuz I don’t want to chance it happening again. It could just be a faulty one I received. But taking it to return and drying and getting the water out. Such a hassle and disappointment..

I lov the standing water cooler it doesn’t take up much space and you can use a 3 gallon water jug or a 5 gallon water jug and it’s pretty hot water and cold water
