This is an easy, cheap, and worthwhile upgrade for any wide-mouth Hydroflask. Now I can take a sip while driving or walking and not get it all over me. Even when just sitting down, it makes drinking a lot more brain-dead as I no longer have to focus on controlling the flow; just put your mouth over the small spout and bottoms up. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but the small cap does have threads on it. I guess the other alternative is a straw, but that's a lot more cleaning to do. The only thing is that, as some other reviews stated, sometimes the main cap is really tight. I have above-average grip strength and am able to get the cap off every time, but it is difficult sometimes. If you have below-average grip strength, maybe keep a towel and a pair of Channellocks around.

My 32oz hydroflask is my favorite water bottle, and it has been for a few years now. But, I've had a lot of issues with the lids. I've tried a lot, but none have been able to limit water flow so none spills out, limit space above the mouth so ice doesn't slide down and cause a splash, have the drinking surface be protected by the lid while not in use so my mouth doesn't touch whatever junk was on the subway seat the bottle rubbed up against earlier in the day, and be easily cleanable. This lid does all of that. I was super happy when I bought it, as it seemed like the perfect lid. There's one issue that I recently noticed though that's making me apprehensive about continuing to use it. The top lid has nothing in place to prevent over-tightening. I just learned that this can damage the internal threads, causing the rubber of the cap to fray off and fall into the water, which I've inevitably drank up at some point. I don't want to risk continuing to drink chunks of rubber, so I'm switching to a different lid. I think that this could be easily fixed by putting a manual stopper of some sort which could limit tightening.

I recently picked up the Hydro Flask Wide Mouth Lids, and I have to say, they do not disappoint. These lids are incredibly sturdy, and I haven't experienced any leaks at all. They fit securely and add to the overall durability of the bottle. It's reassuring to know I can toss my bottle into a bag without worrying about spills or drips. The only downside is the price. It does feel a bit expensive for just a water bottle lid. However, considering the quality and reliability, it might be worth the investment if you're looking for something that won't let you down. Overall, a solid purchase for Hydro Flask users.

This is one of my favorite water containers. We ended up buying a small version as well. I just wish there was a easier way to clean the O-rings.

Im using this cap on a daily basis ever since I got it. The cap is well made and authentic. It fits my wide mouth hydroflask well and the insulation for this cap is as good ad the usual wide mouth. It doesn’t leak and works well for a careless person like me who tends to spill water on myself while using the wide mouth cap.

Je suis tellement contente de mon achat. J’ai acheté ce produit parce que je n’aimais pas le bouchon qui vient par default avec leur bouteilles. Parfait pour moi : c’est beaucoup plus simple de boire quand je suis dans le rush et les boissons restent froids plus longtemps. Super Ergänzung zur HydroFlask. Mit diesem Deckel lässt es sich leicht aus der Flasche trinken, dabei ist der Deckel sehr leicht zu reinigen und damit aus meiner Sicht viel hygienischer als der Strohhalm-Deckel.

Fits my hydro flask well and really good for gulping my drink without having the whole lid being taken off. Highly recommend if you want to chug your hydro flask without the full lid space coming off and your drink spilling on you.
