The network crimping tool is useful and accurate.Happy with the purchase. I wish I had done more research before buying this model as latest pass through crimping technology is much easier to get the job but this one is ok too.

I was really impressed with this kit, it really has anything you might need for your work on network. All in all, considering the price, this is really good value for money.

I have been converting a small bedroom to an office but also a mini data room.In order to provide internet to the room, I needed to run a Cat-6 cable around the house and terminate in some RJ45 Sockets on the wall.Plugged a cable in each end and put these on it and they worked perfectly indicating there was no problem with the cable.Happy to recommend.

Easy to use and value for money. Ideal for home use.

Very useful if you only need to use it for occasional home networking tasks.

Work’s fine. I’ve done about 12 crimps and every one has been perfect first time. No idea how long it will last, looks the same as some of the more expensive tools. It will only get used every now and then so it’s excellent value for money for me, I didn’t want to spend loads on a tool that isn’t used often.Instructions are very poor and only explain the minimal info needed.. Lots of features that I can’t use without instructions, especially the cutters. So annoying to have to experiment with it to see what it will do, so would have had 5 stars if I had proper instructions!! Can’t find info on the internet to explain it properly either. The connectors that came with it are NOT pass-through which is what I thought was in the kit (it’s much easier to see if the wires are correctly fitted when using the pass-through connectors) but I think it does crimp and trim them….. but again I don’t know without instructions, so next time I order some connectors I will get the pass-through type to try.Wiring tester is excellent cheap tool, it tests the cables you’ve made and easily traces the correct cables when they are bunched together. Numerous wire trimmers and cutters in the kit, not sure what they are all for.Generally well worth keeping this comprehensive kit in your tool box -just in case.Wish I got it years ago!

It did the job, but it's difficult, the cutter can easily cut in too deep, ended up using a sharp knife, the end covers don't fit well, and the wire tool, not easy to use, my old bt one is much easier

I've only used the kit lightly & that's unlikely to change in the future.Everything works as it should & quality, at this price point, is very acceptable. If you need top quality kit for professional or heavy use, maybe look elsewhere. If it's occasional DIY stuff though, look no further.Pass through connectors are much easier to work with than standard versions & I don't remember which came with this kit. If you use pass throughs, be careful when trimming the wire ends so as to avoid short-circuits.
