ClippasafeEasy Wash Harness and Reins (Black)

We needed a harness to help secure our 9 month old to a high chair whilst on holiday (Center Parcs). It was perfect! Enabled a secure fit, easy to adjust and allowed her to sit comfortably. Now these stay in the changing bag as they are perfect for those high chairs when you are out and about!

I want to reassure any parent who’s trying to fit this to a Tripp Trapp that it DOES work! You could use zip ties too, but not as neat or easy to clean.

Works well to stop my 11m old from standing up on her Tripp Tripp high chair and didn’t want to spend a lot on buying the Stokke one so was very pleased this cheap alternative which does the job. Clips are a bit stiff but fine and despite no instructions it was fairly easy to fit.... you basically attach each loose strap round each side below seat so when child is sitting with harness they cannot pull up but aren’t too restricted. We use it with the newborn seat attachment and didn’t need any extra D-Rings or Velcro.

I wanted some reins but expected a fight from my daughter to get her in them. So I bought these as they had generally good reviews and were very reasonable. Not used the attachment for the trolley as yet but for walking they're fine. She's in a thick winter coat and is a very tall and broad 16 month old and they fit fine. If I have to tug her back up off the floor and give a gentle pull to stop her toppling over she doesn't whine or moan so they mustn't be uncomfortable though in summer without a coat they might be a bit uncomfy (like any reins I imagine). For the price they are great and they are small enough to put in a handbag or pocket too so you can always have them to hand.

I have two Stokke trip traps for my children. My daughter used the harness that Stokke make, I had to take the chair apart to get the attachment holes onto the chair, the harness was not easy to adjust, it cost a lot for what is was BUT is did have the cute fastener on it. After I stopped using it on the high chair it moved to our car for use while shopping for trollies with no strap (it works well for this as it clips right on.For my son I couldn't be bothered to take the chair apart after asserting that yes we did need a harness and I needed something to keep him in the shopping trolly so I decided to give this one a go. I must say that it's a breeze to adjust, I can get it onto and off of the high chair in seconds as the attachers just loop around the chair and it fastens at the back so there is no chance that he's going to get it off! A bonus is that I can also unclip it very easily and use it as toddler reigns. Oh and as for the price, what more can you ask for. I wish I could go back and get one of these for my daughter instead of the greatly overpriced stokke version.

This has worked really well on our Stokke Trip Trap highchair. You don't need any extras, the straps provided can go around the back of the chair and loop back through themselves to create a secure attachment.

Bought for my 18mth old to keep her at my side when in town and LO for the clips to use on high hairs etc. these are far too big for a mall or slim child and my LO isn't slim but the clips for the parent harness strap come in front if her armpits when the arenas is fitted which means that should she fall or I need to stop her abruptly her arms would get pulled up above her head and risk being hurt. I'm sure it will be ok once shes in a big coat for winter but until then I shall be sticking to my cheapo ones I had previously.

We use this with our Stokke Tripp Trapp chair and it works great. So much cheaper than the branded one and my daughter doesn’t mind it at all!
