Frequently Asked Questions If I need to add CO2 to this barrel what would I need? The beer or cider will carbonate naturally in the barrel as it conditions. If you require extra CO2 to be added we have an upgrade pack (NOT INCLUDED) which contains a cap with a brass valve fitted, CO2 Bulbs and a Bulb Holder. The cap is a straight swap for the vent cap supplied and allows the use of disposable CO2 Bulbs to add extra carbonation.
