This is a well built loud horn. Part of my outdoor safety equipment, especially when hiking in the woods.

This air horn is great! I concur with “Dotties” 5 star review. It’s easy to pump, it’s very loud and the best of all it requires “NO” compressed air canisters or batteries to work! You will have “peace of mind” knowing this horn will work anytime and every time you need it without having to replace other air horns that expire or only last a couple of blasts before needing to be re-charged thus costing you more money in the long run. You don’t have to wonder if this horn will work because it’s mechanically operated. One hand holds the horn, the other operates the plunger. If you hurt your hand you can use your arm pits, your knees or your feet to hold the horn while you use the good hand to operate the plunger. No more costly air canister replacements or not knowing if your canister has enough air or needs batteries. This horn is not USCG approved but meets USCG requirements to have an operational horn on board for the size of your boat. Warning! This horn is Very Loud! It may look like a toy but it’s not and will hurt your ears so be careful when trying it out until you get an idea how it works. If you push the plunger in slowly it will toot however if you push the plunger in hard it will blast loudly, so be careful. Highly Recommended!

This is loud but quality is not the best but it works.

We have buzzards. They are very destructive. We have been using a spotlight to chase them away in the evenings. I looked at sound cannons and they were several hundred dollars. I paid $17.99 for this horn. It's loud and very versatile. You control the length of the beeps with the plunger but not the loudness. It has one loudness setting and it's full blast! It works great. It would be great on a boat as an emergency sounding device. It came with a carry bag, but you have to take the horn apart to get it in the bag. I am very happy with this purchase and the price.

Can we say LOUD !!!! Easy to assemble with good quality materials. If you are looking for an extreme. This is it. I tried it out indoors and my ears and my dogs regretted it. If for sports or party but definitely in case of emergencies. You will be heard !!
