3x Used Apple Crates Wooden Crates - Basic Grade Authentic Rustic

I wanted these apple crates for rustic, vintage-look storage on my balcony. I am thrilled with the look,condition and sturdiness of the three I was sent. The crates might be felt a bit rough for indoor use, easily rectified with a bit of gentle sanding. They're perfect for outside use, just as they are. . And they were delivered early! Within half an hour, two were stacked together as a handy shelving unit for spare pots, watering cans, etc. The third frames a pair of large vintage stoneware cider jugs and a cheese press sits on top. My little bit of 'Homes & Gardens' at a reasonable price.

Very ‘rustic’ boxes that look great as shelving. A really good size and versatile; even my cat liked them! They were quite rough so needed a quick going over with some medium sandpaper though this added to the character. This gives you the option of having them rough and rustic or make them smoother as I did.

I liked the fact that they are rustic but not scruffy. We use them for coffee tables in the garden during the summer so didn’t want rough crates and these were just right.

Arrived on time and they are very strong. Look good in my garden on their side, one on top of the other and perfect for tidying away watering cans, plant pots etc.

I have purchased these 3 times now and they are all still going strong.I line them with membrane, fill with compost and grow herbs, salad and veggies in them.I will buy again

I know crates are "vintage" but i did not expect them to be wet and mouldy and covered in bird poo! These were not the cheapest apple crates. Not worth returning for mould and faeces but I expected them to be in a useable condition on arrival.

The crates were delivered quickly and are a nice colour. Was a little disapointed with the crates. I know they have been used but only one out of the three was usable straigtaway. Did not contact supplier as we made a second usable one out of two and only needed two in the end. Would use the supplier again two out of three not all bad.

Very happy with my three large crates. Very sturdy. I shall paint them different colours and hang them on a fence and put garden ornaments in them.Thankyou for the delivery during lockdown. I've been in isolation and it gave me a project to do.
