This cable length allows e.g. B. extension cable to a higher wall socket or feed socket and place the cable with the coupling on the floor. The advantage is that after connecting a consumer, no tensile load is created on the connection between plug and coupling. In addition, the feed plug is not charged. Pull on these two connections should always be avoided, as loose contact connections can cause socket fires in the worst case. Short circuits can also cause damage to the connected devices.
