Perfect Boom Arm
This is a great boom arm. I bought a cheaper one first and it was not very sturdy. This one is heavy and sturdy. I use it for my podcast and could not be happier!

Adequate but overpriced and cheap feeling
I've been using Neewer mics for a while now as a budget option, and they come with a mic arm in the box. It's nothing to write home about, but it's perfectly reasonable for a stock stand. When I recently got my Shure SM7B, the arms from my Neewer mics proved too weak to fully support the weight of the much heavier microphone.I sought this boom arm as a replacement, but sadly it was still not strong enough to support the SM7B's weight even when tightened up, ironically performing worse than the cheaper Neewer arms. Compared to the Neewer arms, this also doesn't adjust as easily due to not having a spring-tension system. It also just feels cheap and plastic-y.Wouldn't recommend for the price, but adequate for lighter mics if you, for whatever reason, can't get a cheap Neewer stand or equivalent.I'm going to bite the bullet and shell out for a Rode PSA1 arm instead.

Holds the much very well
This arm was designed for my Q9U so I was expecting it to work and it did really well. Very well built and solid. Looks great in my setup
