Yes it’s the ingredient found in curries that gives them a characteristic yellow colour. Curcumin is taken from the root of the turmeric plant. The claims for its beneficial effects are wide-ranging, from arthritis to heartburn, jaundice to high cholesterol and Alzheimer’s to headaches. You receive a bottle of 120 capsules with a daily dose of 2 capsules. Two capsules deliver 1200 mg of turmeric and 200 mg of curcumin. There is no established recommended daily dose level. The bottle is brown coloured to protect the contents from the effects of sunlight and the bottle is fitted with a screw top with no additional security device to restrict access. The capsules have a cellulose ‘plastic’ coating to make them easy to swallow and are a mustard colour – yes turmeric is the colouring agent used to colour mustard. If you hold the capsule in your mouth for a few seconds you begin to get the taste, so I recommend swallowing them fairly quickly. As a frequent sufferer of migraine I’ve tried all sorts of things to help control and relieve them. Fortunately I now take Triptans to relieve attacks but am still keen to try ways of avoiding them all together. Clearly I’m in no position to conduct clinical trials, but the other claimed benefits for Turmeric Curcumin are reason enough to give them a go. I’ll update the review if prolonged use has either positive or negative effects.

First impressions are positive. I've been using H+B turmeric supplements and drinking green tea with black pepper which didn't seem to be working. This particular product I've been using for just over a week and I feel a difference, I have just got over a bout of back pain and have been suffering from the stiffness and general after effects which I genuinely believe are lessened due to this product, im very grateful as any one who knows this type of injury can be very dehabilitating especially in my line of work. I am only taking two a day one morning with breakfast and one in the evening with dinner. I hope that the effects continue and I will update in due course as to how I'm feeling. I do believe this is beneficial to easing joint pain. I have reordered. The firm is helpful and believe in their product. I started with taking two capsules but because of the severity of the pain I increase to six per day. I did notice a marked difference in the movements in my legs and a decrease in pain. I was supposed to have steroid injections in my knee but because of the improvement my doctor put it on hold until I see him in 10 weeks time. The only thing which concerns me about taking a high dosage is the sweet smell from your breath and it does linger. it is not unpleasant but I do not like it. I have reduced my capsules to two a day again. this now appears to work for me. If the pain gets bad again then obviously I will up the dosage for a short time.

I decided to buy this product after a friend mentioned it in approving terms. I am very sceptical of such things, but to my considerable surprise I have noticed a very, very marked improvement in muscular soreness that is due to wear and tear in my lower back. So much so, that I fully intend to buy more. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. Later addition to this review.... Having consumed about half of the first bottle, I remain surprised at the effectiveness of these capsules. I am also starting to wonder whether the dramatic improvement in neuralgia pain that affects my upper right arm is due to this product. The improvement is certainly there, without any doubt whatsoever, and it has coincided with me taking this Aava labs product.

Normally used Curamed, (over three years) but price rises have made us seek alternatives. First time using these. Arrived early June and waited until now to do a review so it's more accurate. The person these are for, they have a number of health issues and are more at the end of the line in these health issues. They have arthritis and osteoarthritis and on daily morphine for serve pain. Due to compression of organs, they struggle to eat, to have an appetite and also struggle to go to the bathroom. These tablets have not taken the edge off the pain (like curamed do) but they do help with appetite which is a great issue and they also help with regulating their bowel movements, which is another issue and these two issues cause pain as well as the above pain. So because it's helped in these two areas, there is now no pain. So these tablets definitely help in these two areas. The tablets are big and are coated with a very strong taste, which they struggle to swallow due to this taste of the tablet and makes them gag. Price wise very good, helps in two areas which is also good. We didn't expect all to go away or to be healed. We just need something to take the edge off all as much as possible. Would order more when these run out, but going to try another product first. Will do an update if needed. Oh one more thing. On the bottle it says free second bottle. You go to the web-page and there is no claim for a free second bottle. So to me this is false advertising and that is wrong. Update 08/-8/2018 had to stop taking them, due to the powerful taste on the outer side of the tablet is so over powering for them, it's making them gag etc. Shame. Others don't seem to mind, so personal choice.

I bought this product after researching the positive effects of Turmeric and Curcumin as its active component - and decided on this product because of high percentage of curcumin. After using it for two weeks I can confirm that this supplement really makes a difference in pain management with herniated disc, but also headache and chronic pain. I hope that it might even prove to be more effective after prolonged use. Capsules are normal size and not difficult to swallow. Extra plus - made in Europe, so quality tests applied and free from preservatives, artificial colors, GMOs and 100% vegan. This formula works for me so I highly recommend it!!
