For 2 TB, this price was great. It works well with my HP laptop and transfers video files with ease.The only reason why I took a star away was because the cord to connect is proprietary, meaning it's not a generic usb cord. It will connect to any usb port, but the port connecting to the drive is a special type of plug; it's not usb-c. You need to take great care of this cord, because if you lose it, you will have to order a new one just for it.Other than the special cord, it works great and I love it!

Such a great product. This Toshiba HD helped me a lot to save and store so many files I had on my PC. I need it because I wanted to perform a reboot of my PC, and also to clean and store some information, and so far, it has helped me a lot. It is fast, its capacity is great, the material and the resistance are perfect. Always recommend Toshiba because of its quality.

I was disappointed but I could not believe that two external drives could be DOA on arrival in as many days. So I went about rearranging and pulling out everything connected to the old computer. I plugged in the Toshiba external drive and it worked! So it could have been a power issue; enough power to light the blue light on the drive but not enough to allow it to work. I tried the one that came yesterday and it worked too. I'm just going to tell Amazon to bill me for both drives; I'll keep them both. I've been using Toshiba drives for years; they've been good for me.

I bought this drive for backup/extra storage for our home computer. So far the drive works great and it was super easy to set up -- plug and play into the USB Port. Great value for the price and should me more than enough storage space for the foreseeable future.
