Kinobo USB B3 HD Webcam with Metal Stand for Xp/Vista/Windows 7/Skype + USB Mic & LED lights

I am amazed at the quality of this webcam, how they manage to sell it at this low price I do not know. As soon as you take it out of the box you can't fail to be impressed by the solid construction, (it IS real metal not silver painted plastic), the weight allows you to position it on your desk, adjust it to virtually any angle you require and it will not move around as some do at the least vibration.The workmanship is not the only feature of course and the picture quality is equally as impressive, with it's manual camera type lens adjustment ensuring you get a razor sharp image with ease. The sound quality from the inbuilt mic is clear and crisp, so is ideal for chatting on Skype or other messengers.I believe it works on Windows 7 and all later versions, (I am using it on Windows 10). There is no software to install, all you do is plug it into any spare USB port so even if you are a novice, you will be going in no time at all.Buy one you will not regret it.

Absolutely awful.Best image quality the camera can achieve testing with the built in camera all on Windows 10 is 0.3MPBlurry image, ability to focus very temperamental. Image too close, you have to sit about 2 meters away from the camera just for your face to fit in the frame.Microphone awful and doesnt pick up sound.Only a couple of the LEDs actually work.Waste of money.

When I bought this it was advertised on here for £29.99, I therefore expected a high quality product. When it came I downloaded the recommended software on the product site as mentioned on the enclosed leaflet, which advertised it for £16.99! I felt cheated! The picture was slightly better than my current one, but there's a sort of white noise in the background with the sound. I see it's now showing for 16.99 on here so somebody else must have pointed this out recently!

This is just what I wanted, an easy to use plug in and go camera for use with Skype. I think the quality of the image is good and the little camera is attractive to look at- some webcams are pretty ugly but this has quite a stylish look with its dark polished chrome- which means you don't have an urge to hide it away when you aren't using it! It is quite a solid little thing and easy to angle into the position you want. I think it is great value.

I got the product in 2 days, so delivery was super fast, thank you. The camera looks nice at first sight but if you check it up closely you can find minor flaws on the metal (if you look really close :-)) so the exterior is awesome. Connection went fast, Windows 7 recognized it in a blink of an eye, then I first checked the picture quality with skype ( while fixing the settings)and it looked weird. Turned on AMCap to see whats wrong. First I tried to set focus as good as possible but here I got stuck. I tried to set focus 100 times but still couldn't match the focus both center of picture and exterior (either center or exterior will be out of focus). At the end I gave up and settled with the optimal setting that I would call acceptable. I can't say it's a bad webcam but if they would improve the lens ( for good focusing) than it would be the best webcam in this price range(16,99£). The metal stand is very good and the built in mic. as well. I would still recommend it, it's a nifty little piece of equipment.

First of all, it looks good, and sure it's sturdy with the metal casing. Yes it's great it has a heavy metal stand and a long cable so it can be positioned conveniently and straight on a flat surface. Having the in-built mic is also useful. Although it also has led lights around the lens, their power is all over the place, some won't even light up, others do but stay weak, and some are on full power. What's that all about?Now the more important bits. As another reviewer mentioned, the focus could be much better. It's manual focus, you spin it in the groove every time you move nearer or further. Are these people kidding? So it's great if you're sitting at a desk and your distance is always the same. But in spite of the few unimportant positives unfortunately I must say that, although it's supposed to be HD, picture quality is not great. I ordered 2 webcams at the same time, the other one is the Logitech C270 HD Webcam, and no doubt, that one with the autofocus and superior picture quality is a far better choice for the same price.Oh and this Kinobo is also a lot smaller than expected. Max height is about 5 inches. If I were to buy one of these from the shops, I wouldn't give more than a fiver for it.

This is nice little device. Simple to install, bought for my who is father is nearly 70 and he had no problems plugging it in, and windows on his PC installed the drivers automatically. Was easy enough to do over the land line phone. Now he has Skype running. The camera works well so far. Does the job well and pick ups his voice clearly. Very happy I chose this one.

worked perfect first time, lights stopped working second time used, every time since picture freezes up after a few seconds. tried to get in touch with kinobo, not a chance, dead end were ever i went.
