Soil Sifter 12" (1/4”Mesh Screen)-Sieve for Sand Rocks Dirt Compost

This sifter works really well. It seems very sturdy when I use it and its depth and mesh size are just perfect for me to sift my potting soil for planting. Very happy with this purchase.

I was pleasantly surprised at the good quality of this sifter.I have an approximately 1/4 acre garden and grow most of my starter plants. Due to the poor quality of the potting mixes something had to be done. This medium strength sifter does an excellent job removing sticks, wood bark, oversize perlite, etc. This results in a very satisfactory potting mix. I would purchase again.

I'm planting fall lettuce and such. I used this for the first time today. So nice. I used potting soil and the results were so nice. So fluffy and nice for starting seeds. Kept all the small twigs and rocks out. Love it.

She sifts

Can't believe I went so many years w/o one of these. Not only does it fit over a bucket, but fits over a large plastic bowl I have but never used as a hanging pot. My recent "premium potting soil" purchase turned out to be approx 1/4 bark chips and small twigs. Very strong construction.

Found this nifty device very helpful for sifting potting media for houseplants. Anyone who buys bagged soil at the home center knows that even the good stuff has sticks, twigs, and bark chips in it. No gold nuggets found yet, but I'll keep sifting!

1/4” is perfect for sifting through crappy topsoil filled with mulch and rocks.
