From violet to ginger/honey/ caramel
What can I say other than it worked amazing!! I decided I wanted to go back to my strawberry blond/honey caramel color I had about 10 years ago. I used to mix 3 colors to get that color myself hence I did go to beauty school awhile back. However I am American living in the uk and used to use clairol soyplex and mix 3 colors for a stunning color. They don’t sell that brand here so I had chat gpt convert my 3 amazing colors and what a disaster. My strawberry hair went from that to an ugly mahogany violet not that there’s anything wrong with that but that’s not what I was going for. I was devastated beyond belief and was very worried to try Color oops. I have an appointment with the hairdresser today to match my roots, however after using color oops I did get a-strawberry color from that ugly mahogany violet not that there’s anything wrong with that but that’s not what I was going for. I was devastated beyond belief and was very worried to try Color oops I have an appointment with the hairdresser today to match my roots however after using I did get a beautiful ginger colour and sort of the colour that I was looking to get in the first place. Yay for color oops. I will say I worked it into my hair quite fast. I do have a good amount of gray on my roots so I believe that’s why it lifted so much plus I did use a hairdryer to warm it up a bit bc my house is so cold. I also wrapped my hair in plastic wrap and then a towel over that. I believe I read don’t do that and maybe this is the reason why. Nonetheless I am happy with the color and only wanting to change the roots to make them richer looking. I also did rinse my hair for a good 15 min after washing it, I also washed again 4 more times and then issued a protein conditioner and left on for 25 min and then blew dry my hair and it came beautifully. I uploaded pics not in order sorry but I think you can tell which is which. Also not a terrible smell and well worth the money. Jobaz sounded scary and smelly. This was amazing.

Shocked! Orange/brown result! Years of box dye stripped, ready to be dyed natural!
Didn’t expect the result at all, I even bought a different brand thinking I’d have to try again after, had black box dye both semi and permanent and plum, red and brown all in one. Been dying my hair for years, have naturally medium brown hair and it’s stripped my roots to blonde/ ginger, and the rest to a browny colour, felt forever to rinse it all off but make sure you do! I just watched a show while I stood over the shower (around 30 mins) and used clarifying shampoo around 3 times in total, hair wasn’t falling out or snapping, smells a little but nothing that horrendous, I’m going to dye over it with a more natural brown, box says can do immediately after. Also do a hair mask and condition well after rinsing! Overall can’t believe it. I used another brand before from Superdrug which said max strength too and it didn’t lift a single colour! BUY

Removed the red hair dye
Ordered this after watching a few YouTube videos and seeing good results with removing red hair dye. This treatment worked so well and you can actually see the hair change in colour as it processes. I washed my hair 2 days earlier with head & shoulders shampoo, conditioned as usual. This alone faded some of the red. I then applied the Colour Oops on dry 2 day unwashed hair and let it do its magic. I covered the hair in kitchen foil instead of the plastic cap to keep the heat in. To my understanding if the hair is warm the cuticles are more open? Or something sciency like that. I did give it a warm blast with the hairdryer whilst it processed and massaged the product in to my head and ends. The product does stink a bit eggy but was simple to follow. Rinse after for the full 20 minutes for the best results. Each time I shampoo’d it the colour got lighter. I don’t know how this stuff works, but it does! Hair condition after wasn’t as bad as I thought. A great product all round.

Removed some colour
The underneath of my hair was faded black permed box dye with a red deposit only dye over the top. The top was bleached blonde with the same red dye over it. Color oops stripped most of the deposit only dye despite the instructions saying that it doesn't. It left a few stripes of red, mainly over the bleached parts. The black dye faded to a dark brown but requires further lightening with bleach to blend it in with the lighter sections. The process of rinsing was atrocious. I lost a lot of hair and almost passed out from the continous heat. I'd definitely never subject myself to that process again. Overall I've now got a decent base for a lighter colour which is what I wanted. But I absolutely wouldn't have been able to get a nice even colour result from this product alone.

Did work good. Now not so much
Edit to change review as you can see from the first picture it changed my hair back to my normal hair. Now a week later my hair has gone back to the colour it was originally dyed! Rubbish (last picture is now) Don't really leave reviews but had to for this. Been dying my hair for 20 year. Decided i wanted to see my natural colour hair fully. Already tried another brand of dye remover but it didn't do a thing. But this stuff!! Brilliant. Its sticns bad but it works wonders. Gone from black box dye to near enough my natural colour!!

Colour returned
1st photo is before, 2nd photo results after using and drying, 3rd photo is result after 12 hours. At first I was content with the job it had done as I’m aiming to go back blonde from brown box dye, but after a few hours the product seemed to have oxidised so brown has returned in my hair. I rinsed for 20 minutes as said, and shampood multiple times to ensure product was gone, but unfortunately still had brown colour return. Not really happy after paying £20

Did the process twice on a black box dye hair, with a month break in between. About 15 cm of my hair on top was orange but the bottom barely lost any color at all. The natural roots at the time were about half of that length. I kept the formula on my hair for 60 min each time and the damage was minimal, fixed with hair mask in a week. I had better results from drugstore brand color remover at one time without the smell and in shorter time.

I liked that it worked as promised, removing my old build-up of hair colour from many years of dyeing.

Ok I'm generally a review reader, not writer. This product saved my hair. I have waist length blonde hair starting to go white. I decided to embrace it and have spent the last couple of months trying to achieve that, so after bleaching, toning, etc I ended up with purple hair after toning with a silver hue. I have spent the last week trying to vet rid of pink and purple. I used vinegar rinse and then tried baking soda wash. I didn't want to use any more bleach or harsh products as my hair was getting incredibly dry even after using conditioner between every step. So after doing research on Color OOPS. The reviews were mixed, they reflected a really unbearable smell, tough to rinse and being very drying. Bit the bullet and purchased. I am ecstatic. The smell was absolutely no issue. None. The product started working immediately. I ened up keeping it on for about 15 min. No burning or scalp issues. Just was doing an awesome job removing silver box dye. My hair is now a very light blond and actually feels great. I shampooed twice in between rinses and did a good conditioner on final rinse. It is important to thoroughly rinse. Though it's probably the most strenuous , rinse it thoroughly! My hair is softer and feels better than it has in a month. If you are on the fence, jump off. I wish I had done this right away, rather than using the baking soda and or vinegar.
