The taste of our water changes drastically in the warmer weather and I usually have to buy bottled water. I decided I wasn't happy about all the chemicals being pumped into my system from "treated" tap water and looked for my best option for a filtering jug. Brita is pretty costly so I plumped for this make and it's been fantastic. It's clean, easy to use and I've drunk so much more water since buying it, I feel great! The replacement cartridges are very reasonable too and it takes minutes to set up. A really excellent product - so good that I bought one for my DD too.

I was looking for a new filter jug that would still take my Aqua Optima Evolve (and Brita Maxtra and supermarket own-brand) filter cartridges, rather than the 'new' versions. I also wanted one that was easy to fill and had a protective flap over the spout. I wasn't worried about an electronic counter in the lid - I find these more bother than they're worth because they can't go through the dishwasher. I simply put a reminder on my phone or a note on the fridge to remind me to change the filter.I must admit, I was a little concerned reading some of the reviews but was finding it difficult to find a jug that met my criteria – I'm so glad I decided to give this one a go! Both my boyfriend and I both prefer it to our old Brita filter jugs.The product description says that "This jug will fit and is compatible with ANY Aqua Optima Evolve+, Evolve or Original filter", so I am 'future-proofed' when I eventually use up my existing stock of filters.I was a little confused on first setting it up because the filter cartridge attached underneath the top reservoir, but once I'd worked that one out it couldn't have been easier. Simply open the top of the lid by moving the slider at the top of the handle with your thumb and place the jug under the tap. I found that if I place it level then the water doesn't splash when filling. Simply close the slider again when you're done.There is a set of little silicone foot pads to stick on the bottom of the jug, and a filter cartridge is included too.The only problem I've noticed is that if you're trying to pour from it while there is water in the top reservoir, then this pours from the spout, so just make sure that most of it has drained through before pouring.

Daughter asked me to buy this for her. It arrived in its own box and very tatty too; so glad this wasn't a present! It looked as if it may have been an item returned by someone else but on asking her what she thought she said it was great and everything was in the box and in good condition.

my first filter jar and I'm very happy with it. no more buying water. the rest of the family got used to the routine very quickly and now we always have fresh filtered water! I find it very efficient. the lid is a bit flimsy but we just handle carefully and it works beautifully. very good quality for the price.

it looks good. it has Easy pour through lid that makes it very easy to refill water. It was common issue with previous jugs that lid was getting broken while filling water from the tap. It filter quickly. I will recommend this product.

This jug is very good value for money and certainly does the job. The filter is a bit tricky to put in, my husband had to do it. Just hope we can change the filter without any trouble. Water definitely tastes better and no scum floating on my coffee.

Aqua Optima has always shown good quality filters, but this jar is a part of disappointment. The average is fine but the way that the top cover is holding the water does not work. When you try tu pur the filtered water, the unfiltered water spills From everywhere

The media could not be loaded.  I am very disappointed that the filter that does not fit correctly and unfiltered water falls down and mixes with the filtered water. I had seen this in previous reviews before buying it, yet I thought that this had been resolved. I would like a refund as this does not serve the purpose.Otherwise the jug looks nice and fits in my fridge.This needs to be improved, otherwise, I wouldn't advise to buy.

Très bonne carafe filtrante hors mit un défaut De conception pas très pratique lorsque qu’on l’on remplis la carafe de l’eau entre également dans la poignée et coulés partout car des trous sont présent dans celle-ci.Mais hormis ce manque de praticité beau désigne et permet un réel taux de calcaire et détritus dans l’eau

Die Filterkartusche von Elvolve passt nicht optimal in den Innenbehälter. Muss mir das Original nachbestellen. Ist sehr ärgerlich. Bin insgesamt nicht zufrieden. Schade um das Geld

Muy buena jarra, no envidia en nada a la marca "famosa". Filtra rapido, buen sabor y antideslizante. Buena compra.

Ausgieß-Tülle taugt wenig, tropft furchtbar, Deckel schließt nicht wirklich dicht. Keine Kaufempfehlung!

Très bonne carafe, parfaite en contenance, l'eau a un bon goût, rapide pour filtrer.
