Bello!

If you get a bad one you may want to return it for another ...
The Pony Pop line seems to have mostly replaced the "standard" ponies in stores (I only ever see the classic type with the combable hair in drugstores and supermarkets now). On the one hand, they're smaller and have less direct interactivity, but on the other hand they offer more creative possibilities.Quality does seem to be uneven (and it's not per pony -- someone else had trouble with a Rarity while mine worked perfectly). If you get a bad one you may want to return it for another of the same. The size also doesn't match any other pony type in my collection -- they're smaller than the ponies with combable hair but massively bigger than the "blind bag" solid plastics. The only other real issue is that the stickers don't stick that well, especially to curves. (Notice how on the sample picture the necklace is on Rarity's SIDE when it looks like it's intended to go just under her head on the front? Well, they don't stick so well on the front ...) I'm going to try a little glue, since I'm more interested in mixing up manes, tails, and accessories. It does seem kind of a shame to me that they printed the cutie marks directly on the flanks, rather than shipping them without cutie marks (and thus conceivably letting you create your own characters -- just from this set I count like 5 stickers that would have made fine cutie marks, allowing me to make up my own white unicorn, and one of the stickers IS Rarity's cutie mark). This is especially true since some of the playsets come with another copy of the pony. But a little paint to cover the old one and you can convert a pony to a new character pretty easily.I don't know if I'd recommend buying a SINGLE Pony Pop figure. They're kind of made to be bought in multiples so you can get switchable parts, or to be bought alongside the corresponding "Style" pack to give you more options to start with.

Pretty cute but not very easy to switch up with the other pop ponies. The pieces were pretty tough to get clipped together and pulling the pieces off of the structure led to some sharp points for small hands.
