Seal outside tap joint
Did the job I needed it for.

It’s just a small tube of silicone sealant.
It’s just silicon sealant it’s not a compound

Good leak fixer
Really good at fixing leaks, but horrible to use, and stinks whilst applying. Does the job though, so would happily use again, I’ll just remember to use nitrile gloves next time.

It worked well, but is it just silicon?
I can’t fault the product at all, as it worked well and stopped the leak on the tap I had fitted.I wasn’t entirely sure what the consistency of it would be like, as the manufacturer don’t provide allot of information on their website. It seems very similar to silicone sealant and even smells the same. For this reason I gave it allot longer then they suggested to go off, but it worked fine.

It worked
Had an issue with a compression fitting which wouldn't stop weeping, even after trying the old trick of PTFE tape round the olive. Not straightforward to replace the fitting so I decided to give this a try as it is labelled WRAS approved. Found smearing it around the olive with the PTFE still in place before re-tightening the fitting worked, which has saved some faff trying to replace the joint.

No good
Had a dripping pipe on the garden tap. I thought this might work because the instructions said you could apply it to a wet surface. Applied the sealant but the drip kept finding a path through it. Used the whole tube with minimal effect. Waste of time and money.
