Sizing is tricky
I purchased the size that fit my measurements. The ankle is loose but the thigh is snug. If I tried to use the strap at the thigh it would cut off blood circulation. I cut the strap off and have found the leggings to be useful. The footlets are too tight at the ankle and cut off the blood circulation. I was not looking for footlets so that is not as important to me. Without the straps the leggings are useful.
