I have fine, curly hair, which is also bleached. After I wash it (every day), it starts to go frizzy, and often has loads of tangles in it. I had never tried an original tangle teezer as I didn't like the design without a handle. When I saw this one, I thought I would give it a go - and the pink colour swayed it for me. It is fantastic! It smooth out my wet hair without pulling which is very welcome first thing in the morning! But much more than that, I can now blow dry my hair, brush it using the tangle teezer, and it's smooth and shiny. Before I had to hot brush my hair to get this effect. My hair is in much better condition as I am using less heat on a daily basis - plus it saves time.My husband borrowed the brush a couple of times (he has short, straight hair) - he liked it so much that he asked for his own, so he now has a black one. He likes that it really gets down into your scalp - your hair feels as if it has been brushed properly, without any pain.I was struggling to keep tangles out of our dog's poodle hair. He hated having mats and tats brushed out, as they pulled. I tried this brush on him and it works a treat - he loves getting brushed with it and will sit quite happily, and it effectively removes tangles (if you go over them a few times). Happy hair all round in our house!

My daughter has always hated her hair been brushed.From day one it’s always been a struggle, She used to have ringlets which matted, now older she has very long hair thats also thick.I have tried every detangle spray, detangler combs, many different brushes even just using my fingers. At times no matter how much time I have taken or product used it can be traumatising for both of us.I had a brush in this style in the past (not this brand) so wasn’t holding out hope but decided to try this after another day of tears. I wish! wish! wish!!! I had bought this sooner. What a difference. Im not even sure how or why but she just lets me brush her hair. There is still the very odd snag but nothing like before. My daughter is even using it to brush her own hair and mine. Wow this is a game changer and a must have for a child who hates hair their being brushed.

For Afro hair buy both black and pink. If I had to chose one the black.Had the black for 2 years and pink for just over a year.I use them for the opposite use for our hairBlack for wet hairPink for dry hair (when I mean dry I mean oiled/ greased) 😉 lol, you know 😆.Black the bristles are stronger.Pink the bristles are softer.I still get the aww but I don’t get the crying, running away, breakdowns.Still love my Denman but after using this and you don’t get to push the red Bristol holder back on ( you know if you have a Deman what I mean)Don’t find any less hair breakage a brush is a brush but this will save you time it’s very quick easy and as the handle is fatter on the black comfortable when detangling wet hair on my 6 year old DD use on my own 4C natural hair too.As from the picture you can an see I even tried it on a dolls hair. Took 1 1/2 hours for two dolls as the hair was matted bad. Was going to Chuck them but tried this while watching a movie one happy little girl. 👍🏽Although I did have a brush like this by a American black owned company years before this came out but it used hard plastic but same concept.

Saves so much time, gets through both my daughters Afro hair & my European hair better than any other brush.

I have two of these now, the black and pink, because they are just so good!(I use one on clean, just washed hair and one on “dirty” hair)I have been having trouble with my hair where it becomes SO knotty and almost matted when it’s wet that it was taking me ridiculously long to brush. I have fine, straight, processed hair but lots of it.Using this, and separating my hair into small sections, has been a lifesaver. It takes me half the time now and so much less hair left in the brush.Also, I find because I use dry shampoo and products that if I brush my “dirty” hair it leaves residue in my brush. Well because the bristles are smooth with no bump on the end, it is so much easier to keep the brush clean! Just rinse and go. Which is only a good thing for my already unhealthy hair.9/10, one point deduction for the price…. It’s a bit excessive.

I am a black male with Afro hair and my gf told me about this brush, we were both sceptical as it didn’t look like it was for our thick tangle-prone Afro hair. Due to the amount of people and videos claiming it actually works I gave it a go and it almost made me throw away my wide tooth comb (almost). I’ve only used it on wet hair and when using it, it feels too easy like it’s not doing anything. Which is wrong as it does A LOT, perfectly detangles my hair without ripping half of it out unlike its wide-toothed counterpart. After brushing out all my hair there’s only a very minuscule amount of hair on the brush. My wide tooth comb would take out much more from just a quarter of my hair.Black people are born sceptics but trust me the claims are true. I felt zero pain at all and it detangled my hair much much faster. The brush itself also feels like it’ll last, not a cheap plastic feel. Nice weight and long bristles that manage to be flexible and strong somehow, the handle I never find myself using but it’s nice that it’s an option. My gf who also has Afro hair has now stolen it from me so looks like I’ll have to get her one too. Bottom line, if you have Afro hair don’t delay you’ll just be annoyed you didn’t get it sooner. Would’ve personally saved me years of pain as a child if I knew.

This hairbrush is my absolute go to brush. It glides through my hair so easily and doesn’t damage it like some of the other ones. The only thing is that the bristles did start to bend over time but that doesn’t stop it from brushing my hair! It is also very easy to hold and good for travelling
