Does what it claims. Yes it is accurate. Adhesive to attach to glass works well.What it does not do:The display does not stay on, you have to push the button to see the temperature.The display stays on for 5 seconds and goes out.You CANNOT replace the battery in this unit. It's a one shot deal.With that said, it runs on a button battery I believe. I have items in my junk drawer that run on button batteries that still work after 11 years so....................I'm just sayin.

Simple and easy to use, I'm assuming it's accurate. A nice quick reference. Seems like a good price to me, has lasted fine so far- though it would be nice if you could replace the batteries, though I haven't had it die yet but it's only been a few months.

obviously when it comes to your fish and temperature of water its life or death. I run 2 thermometers on my tank. This one and a different one that sits in the water. From my testing so far they both match up with temperature.

We needed an external thermometer for our aquatic turtle 🐢 tank because:1. I personally don't like a lot of things inside the tank for her to mess with.2. Her 6 year old human needed something to easily read & something she could check often without disturbing 'Shelly'.This passed both of our requirements. After having had it for about a month, I can confidently say it's very sturdy & easy to read.The temperature is a little off from when I have checked it against an internal thermometer. But it's never been more than one degree.When it dies (because at some point all small self contained gadgets do), Will most likely just reorder this product if it's available.
