Seiko Men's Analogue Automatic Watch with Stainless Steel Strap SNK375K1

Simply the best you can get for this money
You can't really get an automatic cheaper then this without compromising the quality. The size might be a bit small for certain men but the black dial with the red parts gives it a nice look. Also the illumination on the dial and hands is fantastic. It is big enough to easily read the time.It keeps time really nicely. You just have to keep in mind that you are wearing a mechanical timepiece which can be affected by a lot of things.Shacking, rocking, gravity, magnetism, heat, etc...It will loose time eventually and you have to reset it, but this is part of the fun.I've read that some people think that the day indicator is not English and then they send the watch back.Well the thing is these are bilingual, but the one of the languages is always English. So don't freak out when you see Spanish or something else.If you set it to an English day indication the mechanics will jump over the other one.The only negative might be the strap. It is a really cheap one. They had to cut down costs somewhere, so the strap got the beating. But this doesn't diminish the value of the actual timepiece. You can buy a nicer strap, if you need one. There you have it.There is no lower when it comes to getting a good automatic watch. It is a huge bargain for this price and it might not be "swiss made", but Seiko is a well known, acknowledged brand from top to bottom in the industry. Be it a Grand Seiko or just a regular quartz, their in-house made movements are one of the best. The "Seiko 5" line can compete with all the other well known low end popular brands. Not to mention that the others will give you a quartz for the same price, if not for more.If you never had an automatic, this is the best entry watch you can get. You will appreciate this little, simple timepiece for any occasion.Go and treat yourself with one of these, or with the other subtypes. A whole new world will unfold and you will be sucked in to the world of miniature mechanical wonders.

"Quality Marlene, quality."
I am a destroyer of watches.... And... my once wonderful Citizen Eco Drive, that I never once used to work on a car, or do DIY in, wore to work or did anything robust in (outside the bedroom) and kept for social occasions and going out in garments, ironed, has a couple of nasty scratches on its face. A new watch needed to be purchased and used for very formal things like weddings, funerals, job interviews etc. The Eco Drive will go on holidays, dates and down the pub, maybe a few of the more cerebral gigs too.Meanwhile, this Seiko is going to be reserved for `best'. In my current life it's not going to get much use, so... a battery watch is out of the question... a solar watch might exceed the 7-11 months time these can be kept in dark places before they need days of charging in direct sunlight....Whereas... this lovely thing will run for 48 hours on 3-4 minutes of gentle rocking. This is ideal and means it can be safely put away and dragged out when the suited and booted do requires. It is also easy to set up - one detent on the crown sets the date and clicks through days quickly, reversing changes the day of week. The second detent is for time setting - easy peasy. This is a quality Seiko watch - it's fairly restrained in design too - classic - with deep lustrous stainless steel and a clear and simple face and medium sized - thin enough to slip under a cuff-linked sleeve. It is a paragon of good build quality and it shows. This particular model has had some rave reviews on watch geek forums for its quality and time keeping and that and the whopping 81% discount were key factors in finalizing my choice of this watch. It oozes restrained class and quality. My only niggle is strap adjustment - of all the bracelet watches I own / have owned this was the most difficult to adjust (take links out of). Once done though (and there's plenty of adjustment - the links aren't hugely wide and there are 3 pin adjustment positions one side of the clasp) it's easy to appreciate the quality of that too - it really is good.I am very happy with this - now all I need is an invite to a `black tie' / formal attire do.Update. One thing this watch really lacks is a hand wind capability. I have a cheap Chinese 'Goer' and magnificent Vostok Amfibian - both are automatics and both have this facility. It is really useful, if you take your watch off at night, to be able to give it a quick wind in the morning. With this you either have to buy an automatic watch winder or stand waggling the watch to add power. It's a shame as the movement used is one of Seiko's best and included in far more expensive watches and (if you keep it on and thus wound) keeps good time for a mechanical watch. If I were wearing this every day, this wouldn't be a problem, but I wanted to keep this tidy (unscratched) as a plain but elegant watch. If you're buying this as your all day every day wearer, this shouldn't be a problem.

Good basic seiko
Nice watch. Happy so far. Loses a few seconds a day but good enough for work.

Great Automatic Watch - just take note of size info in my review...
Lovely little watch for the price. Does what it says on the tin. Metal strap is a little flimsy/light - but I always planned to change the strap anyway. NOTE - THE BAND/LUG WIDTH IS 18MM NOT 20MM AS STATED IN THE DESCRIPTION. Also with noting the watch body is pretty small - so if you have big wrists it's not for you. This was exactly what I was looking for. I'm more than happy with this purchase. This replaced a similar Seiko 5 watch I lost recently 🙁. If you are in the market for a reputable brand reliable budget automatic watch you can't go wrong with this one.

Not good watch
The watch is not working continuously. Every time I have to shake my hand to activate the watch

Top quality at this pricepoint
The usually high Seiko quality. This has a small watch face but still looks fantastic, may not suit a very large person or wrist.Lug width is 18mmChanged bracelet to a black with red stitching - am in love!

Needs winding
I like the size, weith, and face. However, being self-winding, it seems that it has to be worn continually. It is rarely still going in the morning.Diasspointing
