Poor quality sound quality
Purchased for my father who is hard of hearing, however the quality of the sound quality is very poor and therefore unable to use.

Good but could be improved
It's a good basic phone & does what you want. The number buttons are large and clear & easily read and pushed. And it's a good price & worked with no problems out of the box. A few niggles, though: 1. The manual refers to removing batteries before disposal: that confused both me and Geemarc technical support: there are in fact no batteries. 2. The ring is very loud indeed and is either on or off; no reduction in volume is possible. It is far too loud to have the phone beside you, which limits it's use for people who need it beside them. 3. The strip you write the names of people for the memory dialling is far too small: names are unreadable, especially by the elderly. You have to make your own labels & stick them below the numbers. So although a good phone, a bit of thought in design could have made it much better.

Great phone especially for hearing impaired elderly. Check all facilities work on delivery.
Bought after research for my hard of hearing 94 yr old Aunt and needed urgently as she had no means of communication Unfortunately the button to pre store numbers didn't work. In every other respect the phone was perfect. It lights up to alert her and she can use the large buttons and hear the phone.

The buttons are nice and big too so she doesn't have to put ...
Bought this for my mum and had it delivered straight to her house. She rang me to tell me that it arrived and it was in fact, the phone she was using to ring me. It looks quite eye catching being black and white and has a very loud ring, and a bright red panel at the front which lights up when the phone rings. The buttons are nice and big too so she doesn't have to put her glasses on to see to make a call. An excellent price too - very impressed.

A good telephone for elderly or infirm where simplicity of use is important.
Ideal and simple telephone for elderly and/or infirm. I bought this to replace a telephone for my elderly father who has Alzheimer's Disease - where simplicity is the key. It's ideal. Good loud ring and the visual strobe when the phone is ringing is a great addition.

Geemarc Big Button Phone
Bought this phone for my parents use (90 & 89 years old) as they're hard of hearing & getting crotchety! It is brilliant - volume control is good & if they fall asleep with the lights down low then when the phone rings and the lights on it glow as well as the extremely loud ring they can spot it easily. So far dad has spilt his coffee all over it but a quick strip down & clean had it operational again in minutes. A really good buy for older folks in particular. Wavey Davey
