Revise GCSE Study Skills Guide (REVISE Companions) Paperback – 27 Feb. 2014

This is one of a number of Revision Guides, which include a GCSE Revision Planner, plus revision guides for English (AQA), Maths (Edexcel) and also French Practice Papers. Obviously, Study Skills are essential and are needed at all levels of education. As my middle son gets towards GCSE age, he is finding that organising his own revision for regular tests is quite difficult. As such, we are working through this together to help motivate him to organise his own revision and get him ready for his GCSE’s.The book is separated into different chapters and cover: Motivation, Organisation, Time Management, Learning to Learn, Speaking and Listening, Finding Answers, Writing, Remembering and Revising. There are lots of colourful diagrams, bullet points and pictures to break up the text. Best of all, though, are loads of ideas about how to organise revision and get the most out of your time. My son has found this very helpful and I think we will get the Revision Planner as well when the exams are coming up.

This is a great book. I purchased it to help with a student I mentor. It has so many great ideas for revision and very easy to follow. Great price too. All students should have one of these!

This is exactly what it says it is a study guide for GCSE.For me personally the layout, although fun, distracts a little from the information.Great for an overview with plenty of tips, but if you want to carry on with your studies you will need to buy anouther study skills book.
