Lynx Manwasher Exfoliates and Gently Cleans Shower Tool for Smoother Skin 2 pc

I bought one of these on a whim a few years back and it's just the job for a good post gardening scrub down in the shower. Normal shower pouf don't really take the punishment and unravel within a few weeks, but these do a great job. The back of this suggests replacing every 6 weeks, but with good care mine has lasted several years before finally falling apart. I have run it through a dishwasher cycle to sanitise and that works well. Alternatively a bit of anti bac hand wash squeezed through keeps it clean between scrubs. Not sure if these are generally still available, but please to be able to pick up a couple here to get me through the next few dirty years :)

It arrived as said, not damaged and does what is says on the tin.

The Lynx Manwasher is a well constructed sponge that works as expected and will last you a long time. It comes well packaged and looks good in the shower. Unlike cheaper alternatives, this sponge has two sides which can be used for different parts of the body, one soft lather side and also a harder scrubbing side. The reason it is only 4 stars is that it can be hard to create a good lather using this sponge, and you may have to top it up with shower gel multiple times to cover the whole body. Ultimately I would recommend this product as there are hardly any other alternatives on the market that can match the high quality.

Christmas simply wouldn't be Christmas if us blokes didn't end up getting at least one Lynx gift set. These gift sets historically had a deodorant and shower gel in them, neither of which I tend to use... not for about 10 years anyway! Last Christmas I received a Lynx gift set which had one of these 'Manwasher' shower tools in them. I didn't know these were called a 'Manwasher' back then though. I hadn't seen one of these before - essentially a black rubbery hand grip with a dark grey shower puff on one side and a grey rough nylon pad on the other. The nylon pad is great for cleaning feet, scrubbing engine oil off your hands and exfoliating dry skin etc. whilst the body buff part is great for cleaning everything else. I eventually destroyed this poor 'Manwasher' after regular use but it's worth noting that it easily outlasted regular body puffs which tend to unravel and fall apart. This was the last time I'd see one of these 'Manwashers'... ...Until this week when I discovered a twin pack of them on Amazon. I'm not sure where there's a single pack for £10.99, especially when the twin pack was only £6.29, but in my opinion these are easily worth 3 quid each to me. Very happy to have discovered these beauties again - I'll definitely be buying more. Pros: - Rubber hand grip - Rough nylon pad for more 'abrasive' cleaning - Body puff part for cleaning everything else - Nylon cord for hanging up - Robust and lasts for ages Cons: - No negatives on the product itself but an individual 'Manwasher' is considerably more than double the price of the twin pack

The soft side has already misshaped, but it does feel nice against the skin. The abrasive side is almost too harsh to be honest, can be quite painful on the skin, also the contact area on this side isn't great. But better than a sponge etc.

We have a renaissance of washers lately but most af them is either all-soft or all-scrub. This one is a compromise and it's really hard to not be impressed by it. Soft side can be used on even the most gentle skin, causing no irritation at all. Scrub side will deal with both tougher skin or dirt, in the same time improving blood circulation. And no, even that side won't harm your skin - it's a washer, not pumice ;) Last but not least is the plastic handle, rigid yet bendable, almost impossible to break. It makes sure the washer stays firm even in the most soapy hands. Disadvantages? Only one: prepare to use more-than-before of your shower gel, as it disappears quite fast in that liquid-hungry washer. Conclusion: an all-round washer advertised for men, yet I gave one to my girfriend and she loves it as much as I do. Both baths and showers get quicker and/or more effective, while the condition of your skin should visibly improve.

As described

I recently purchased this product and really like it. There is the nylon mesh on the one side and there is a more firm scrubbing pad on the flip side. There is a handy rubber wrist band that ensures that it won't fall from your hand. Holds the body wash really well and rinsing it out is a breeze.

J'ai acheté cet objet car j'en avais déjà utilisé auparavant, mais bien que la qualité est plutôt respectée, la fonctionnalité est au rendez-vous, mais, le design ne m'a pas plu, je ne l'ai pas trouvé agréable à utiliser. Mais je recommande quand même !
