I thought these were expensive when I ordered them, especially considering I could buy a new staple gun with staples for an extra fiver. But there was nothing wrong with my staple gun and I needed the staples. But the box was massive and will last me a life time I should think . Its hard to quanitfy a number of staples being so small and I was pleasantly suprised.

Bought these staples to go into a Workman (Aldi) gun and was using to line my shed with bubble wrap insulation. The staples which came with the gun were fine but these are much thinner and don't go into the soft wood very well. If they do go in, they tend to bend and also clog up the machine. Very frustrating and annoying that I now have thousands of staples which I can't really use. There is no indication on the web of how thick they are and I can't find a suitable replacement for the much stronger originals. What is the point of staple gun staples if they bend when they go into soft wood. Can't really use them for anything, certainly no good for upholstery.
