Handy Product
The workbench arrived earlier than scheduled which was great. It’s probably not the sturdiest bench you can get but for what I want and for the price it’s fine. It requires some assembly and the instructions are not exactly comprehensive I’m in no way an expert at diy and managed to sort it out eventually. So if I can do it probably anyone can!

Not for Heavy Duty DIY
It's no Black & Decker Workmate, in fact, when I assembled it, I thought it was a bit flimsy and probably no good for heavy duty jobs.Quite light and easy to move around, as it slides into a folded position.I tried it out for the first time today (08/02/21), as after recently having new carpets fitted upstairs, a couple of my bedroom doors would not close and needed shaving down.I took the doors off their hinges and was able to rest the door on the workbench at an angle and secure it with one of the clamps. The door would be too heavy for this bench to take full weight of, I believe. But, to its credit, the bench did hold the door steady whilst I used my electric planer to shave the bottom of the doors down. All in all, it's not a bad little bench for doing the less heavy duty DIY jobs around the house and for the money, it is good value for money and I would recommend it.

Arrived incomplete, but I have rebuilt it into a sturdy workhorse.
Ordered on 17/06/19 arrived 22/06/19.Item box looks as though its split open at somepoint in its life before getting to me and been sellotaped up again. The only parts in the box are the main components and a checklist of the parts there should be. But no fixings are in the box; no screws, bolts, nuts, and no rubber feet or plastic work clamps. Very disappointed to say the least as it means someone at Amazon is a thief or incompetent fool and thats unlike Amazon.I have messaged Silverline Tools on their Facebook page to see if I can get the fixing pack needed to assemble it, before I attempt to return it. So will update this post, hopefully in due course.UPDATEso, I contcted Silverline tools on their Facebook page as their other online webpage customer services is useless. At least I did get a reply from someoneon their FB page, but they don't stock spares for anything like this, (which is a bit odd as I can purchase new Silverline 'Grip feet' on Amazon). So I started a return procedure with Amazon, but then I thought; "I've seen that most work benches, regardess of manufacturer have all got pretty crap build quality - according to the reviews I've seen - so maybe I'll keep this one and build it as I think it should be built; reinforce the mdf top & 'silverline' rails and use commonly available nuts, bolts & screws".So that is exactly what I have done. The photos I've uploaded are of the parts list - the items circled were all missing and the rest are of my reinforcements and parts I used (12x 50mm coach bolts & nuts and 16x 25mm screws, all from Wilko's. A small bag of their mix n' match items will cost £3.75). The wood I used to reinforce the mdf top & 'silverline' rails, is a gravel board (about £5 from Wicks). As you can see it's now a very sturdy and useable workbench and hopefully will give me many years of service, before I have to go through this palava again. Even using shorter bolts, it won't fold flat and thats because of where the handle assembly is situated when it is folded down.I'm not sure who designed the 'Instrutions' for how to put this together, but I can tell that they've never built a lego set in their life, if they had, hopefully it would be a lot simpler and less cluttered than it is.It is pretty easy to build without using any instructions realistically, the only bit you need to follow is step 3; lift up the flip-top tabs, by doing this you should get them the right way round when you bolt the legs to them - both spring loaded flip-top lock buttons need to be on the outside.Good luck.

Can't wait to begin
I had always wanted one of these after having one years ago I bought it for my retirement next march but will be using it asap, I chose one a reasonable price to suit my ability and budget, I wanted one with clamps to hold the wood in place, easy to put together although I did rush it and put the legs the wrong way tound to start, duh! It folds to fit in my small shed and it light weight,

Wouldn’t buy again - had to send it back
I bought this to use during the lockdown in the UK as I decided to build a mud kitchen for my daughters out of old pallets.Considering the timber is only up to 1.2m long, softwood and quite thin I was really disappointed with how the workbench performed. The fixings simply don’t hold the jaws firmly and there is so much slack in the mechanism that they push up when under pressure. The jaws are also made out of laminated MDF and split on the first use, under very little pressure. The seller was great and offered a full refund as I felt it wasn’t fit for purposeI bought an alternative product from a different manufacturer. Admittedly the alternative I have bought is far more expensive but the quality is far better.

Not so sturdy
It's ok, for the price. Can't compare with other brands.

OTTIMO PRODOTTO
Banco da lavoro ottimo, arrivato puntuale e molto ben inballato.
