I knew to a certain extent I was going to be taking a punt on this because of reading that the manufacturer is no more, but I thought it was worth taking a punt nonetheless because a 360 phone camera adapter for £30, if it works what’s not to like?Sadly it doesn’t work on an iPhone 8 at all — the phone and the camera don’t recognise each other, it just sits there like a funny blue blob on the end of the phone. My guess is it probably won’t work on an iPhone above 8 either.If you’ve got an iPhone 7 or below then it’s probably worth taking a punt yourself to enter the world of 360 photography (or to follow like I did the Cartier Bresson maxim of ‘the best camera is the one you have in your hand’, since I don’t particularly want to carry my Vuze XR around with me everywhere I go) for the sake of £30, but don’t be expecting longevity from it.

Love it. The photos are so clear and make normal photos look flat and boring. Works well in low light as well as bright light. I can not recommend this camera highly enough and I have pretty high standards.

Not wanting to shell out for a full 360 at the time, I saw this as the perfect compromise. I found it would get really hot really quick, there’s no option to use this with an invisible stick so the eMate never stitches right, plus the image always seems to be a low quality. The image doesn’t save direct to the camera and is very easy to lose if doing long videos as it requires a transfer from the app which takes ages, onto the camera roll. Just not user friendly and poor quality. I’ve since bought a full 360 camera and there is no comparison.

This is a really simple accessory for taking 360 VR style photos with your iPhone or iPod. I've been using it with an iPod, which because it is so thin, feels a bit unwieldy but still works very effectively. Because of where the connection port is located, you do have to use it upside down - but after one or two goes taking pictures it, I found I was able to get used to that. Being able to scroll around on the screen and see a full 360 degrees is very impressive, and the image clarity is surprisingly good. It's a slightly distorted fish eye photo, but not to the extent that it makes it hard to view. I've used the Samsung Gear headset and that is my closest point of comparison when viewing 360 degree photos and being able to take my own is really good fun. The camera does heat up quite quickly, which means it can be hot to the touch after half an hour or so of taking pictures.

Bought it as a birthday present for my husband, rather expensive for a gadget but great fun for whole family. Pictures nice but recordings to much of fish eye to my liking. Overall we love it

The item did not work on iOS. Giroptic Has also gone out if business so I assume software is not being maintained.

What a great product I have the iPhone X it works a treat is so easy to use and the pictures are stunning

Just does not work and fail to collect. They don’t collect, you don’t get your money back!!!

J’ai mis une étoile car je ne pouvais pas mettre moins, j’ai retourné l’article bien évidement.Gadget qui ne sert strictement à rien dans la mesure où la société qui gère l’application de cette caméra a fermé donc plus aucune mise à jour sur ce truc.La caméra est complètement obsolète, vous pouvez filmé mais rien n’est possible en live comme il est écrit dans la description et les vidéos ne vont pas dans la bibliothèque!!Juste bien naze.Annonce à retirer de amazon...

J’en ai commandé un, puis retourne car ne fonctionnait pas... repris un autre et là j’ai compris !!Ce produit ne fonctionne plus... ce n’est même pas qu’il soit défectueux... il n’est tout simplement plus supporté par Apple... du coup impossible de le faire fonctionner...tout simplement scandaleux de continuer à le vendre !!Pourquoi ???

Déçus d’apprendre par un mail du gérant que l’activite Giroptic s’arrete et ça une semaine après avoir acheté l’article. La caméra est toutefois un bon gadget pour de la petite 360 à la volée. Autonomie faible c’est bien dommage et impossible de recharger pdt le tournage car elle ne s’alimente Pas sûr le téléphone.

Possibilité de partager les vidéos et les photos sur Internet à tout ce qui télécharge l’application gratuite. La qualité d’image est exceptionnel. Je recommande cet article
