This is brilliant! My son (2yrs) is staying with my parents who have just decorated there spare room so they wanted to try him in a big boy bed as the travel for usually takes up half the room! I orders this one as it was advertised as long enough and it was brilliant! Really covered the side of the bed with enough room to sit and read his story at the end. My mum had put it right up to the top of one side of the bed to ensure he didn't roll out while asleep however I think if you moved it more central to the bed it would limit a child climbing out too.The mechanism works really well and folds down easily. It doesn't fold down exactly flat but near enough and this might be more to do with the bed as it has a little lip and not the guard to be honest.The instructions were rubbish! I have taken part in the none televised crystal maze game experience and was a master of logic however even this stumped me! In the end I just looked at the pictures and identified each peice and then just used my own common sense to put it together. I had to re-just it as I have got it folding down the wrong side but that was a simple enough mistake and easy to fix just un attaching the parts and then swapping out the two top poles!It works on a nipple system so easy to clip together and then depress the nipple to unattach it.I'm pleased I put this up prior to giving it to my mum as I think she would have struggled if following the instructions as they really are not clear but the item items is good really well made and long enough to feel confidant to support my child.When we come to getting a big boys bed I will definitely get another one for our house.Also it came in a massive delivery box so not only did we get a bed guard but we also got an airplane too :)

Very sturdy metal guard. We used it on a 170cm bed and it just fit. Using to keep toddler from hitting the wall at night with some padded cushions on top. The instructions are awful but I used a combination of the images and common sense and it was actually pretty fast, albeit frustrating, to install. Happy with the overall quality, packaging and sturdiness.

Very good sized and secure bed guard that has meant my wife and I can put away the grandchildren's cots with no worries about them falling out of their beds.Others have said that the instructions leave something to be desired and there is truth in that. Not fantastic and looking at the picture on the box is probably easier.However, once you have the assembly worked out putting it together is straight forward and does not require the arms of a silverback gorilla to manage it, unlike some.To fit it you would probably be best having an assistant if used on a double bed as there is a strap that has to pass under the mattress to the other side in order to ensure the rail can't come out. In practice I doubt that it would be needed especially if you are using this on a wooden framed bed where there may be a slight recess for the mattress which would lock the rail in placeYou can fold it down when not in use by pressing a release button on each knuckle. A small lady can just about reach each side at the same time - my wife is 5'2" and can manage it.The guard protrudes about 6" - 120mm above the mattress so plenty high enough to stop a little one from rolling out.Overall a great bit of kit.

Good frame does the job however a nightmare to put together as although poles are marked a,b,c etc in the instructions but not marked on the actual poles so pointless having it on the instructions as you have no idea what pole is what

Good product, looks neat and is fairly sturdy once assembled and hooked in. The instructions are pretty terrible, but as another reviewer suggested, it's easier to lay all the pieces out and figure it out yourself from the last photo. Took about 10 mins from unwrapping to being installed fully. The best part is that the guard folds down, which means the bed doesn't always look odd. Nice item, would recommend.

I already had one of these previously from a different website.Assembly: I found it quite tricky, but there were instructions included. There isn't much give putting the cover over the poles so you need to really stretch it.Length: This covers the full length of a standard cot with the bars off. We also have one for our double bed and goes more than halfway down.Bottom line: I got this for my son who climbs out of bed. It is extra wide extra deep, this has solved the problem. Even if he does climb out its not far off the ground. Would buy again!

Once put together this is a very sturdy bed guard and fits my sunken mattress well, it is extra long and suits my king size bed, my little man will be safe from falling now. But!!!! oh boy the assembly instructions are awful. My daughter and I took and hour (together) trying to put this thing together, We ended up completing the task by looking at a picture of the completed guard from another website. Safetots Ltd you really need to invest in some good quality paper, a good coloured ink and restructure the instructions so everyday people can understand them. Overall though very happy with this items.

I think is brilliant, it's looks likes elegant and almost you can't notice that is in there, it's looks like part of the bed.On another hand if your child moves a lot along the bed this extra size can be the ideal solution because is not way that child can fall down becuase it almost cover the side of the bed.It's easier to use and useful and it gives you the confidence that you need to know that your children won't be able to roll over during the night and fall down from the bed so well spent money.

Non robustissimo, ma efficace al suo scopo. Comodo per rifare il letto e di poco ingombro quando abbassato per non essere utilizzato. Preso per mia suocera e ha tenuto ai suoi tentativi di discesa dal letto.

Wir haben uns - trotz der bisher nur einen einzigen Rezension - für dieses Bettgitter entschieden, da es auf dem Foto so aussah, als könne man es auch bei Betten mit etwas tiefer liegenden Matratzen runterklappen. Bei vielen anderen Gittern scheint dies - den Rezensionen nach - nicht möglich zu sein. Uns war diese Funktion sehr wichtig, da wir eben ein solches Bett haben und es nervig gefunden hätten, das Gitter nicht runterklappen zu können. Tatsächlich funktioniert dies einwandfrei. Zwar liegt es in runtergeklapptem Zustand nicht ganz an, sondern steht in einem leichten Winkel vom Bett ab, so dass man ein bisschen beim Ein- und Aussteigen aufpassen muss, aber das stört nicht, wenn man darauf achtet. Vielleicht liegt das auch an unserem Bett, keine Ahnung. Ganz wichtig aber natürlich auch: Das Bettgitter sitzt echt bombenfest, ein Rausfallen des Kindes ist ausgeschlossen.Der Zusammenbau ist ansich nicht schwer, wenn man den Dreh einmal raushat. Die Anleitung ist allerdings eher kompliziert und unübersichtlich und man sollte der englischen Sprache mächtig sein, da die Anleitung nicht auf Deutsch mitgeliefert wird.Den Punkt Abzug gibt es dafür, dass die Tragetasche (zumindest uns) suggeriert hat, das Gitter sei leicht mit auf Reisen zu nehmen. Das ist es grundsätzlich auch, allerdings muss man es dann komplett auseinanderbauen, was wir ziemlich umständlich finden. Da wir ein großes Auto haben, passt es auch so hinein, aber optimal ist was anderes.Für alle, die ein Gitter suchen, welches nicht ständig auf- und abgebaut und transportiert werden soll, können wir dieses Gitter uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Einmal angebracht sitzt es bombenfest, ist absolut sicher und stabil und hat eine gute Funktionalität.
