The idea behind Iceworks was born from a problem which affects millions of ordinary people worldwide - running out of power on the move. In a world where smartphones aren’t just a means of communication but a gateway to our daily activity, it's never been more important to keep your battery going for as long as possible. That's why we created Iceworks - portable chargers that are easy to carry, simple to use and look great too. Our passion is to help people stay fully charged while on the move. What makes your product special? We aim to provide the easiest to use, most stylish, and discreet portable chargers out there. This meant a product that wasn’t too large, yet with a big enough charge for modern devices. A product that was easy to use, yet had all you needed. A truly all-in-one device. The Iceworks 3000 is smaller than its big brother, the Iceworks 5000, but still retains the in-built cable functionality that makes charging easy, especially compared to chargers that require awkward-to-carry extra cables. As different smartphones have different inputs (Micro USB and Lightning for iPhone), we also wanted to make sure no one was left out. Our built in cable caters for Micro-USB users while the lightning adaptor hidden in the casing works for Apple devices. So even if you have two smartphones, this will still be the charger for you. What has been the best part of your startup experience? We have always been driven to create simple, powerful and all-in-one products.
