King's Last Hope: The Complete Durlindrath Trilogy

This was a good series. It is a sequel of sorts for the Forgotten Swords, as it takes place in the same region with the same Wizard. At the end of the Forgotten swords series is the Prequel for the King's Last Hope.You do not need to read the first series to enjoy this one, though you may want to afterwards.

Robert has created a whole fantasy world, populated by carefully crafted characters. The siege sequences are very impressive and the presence of magic does not interfere with the imaginative story line.

I loved these books. The action is intense but does not overtake the entire plot, somewhat predictable at times but a very good read nonetheless.Can't wait for the next ones to be complete so I can hear more about Brand.

Everything I look for in a fantasy, a titanic struggle between good and evil. Sorcery, suspense, mystery, mayhem, twist and turns like I said it has it all...

I'm about half way into the second book. I wouldn't say it's incredibly easy reading, but the quality of the story line has made the effort worthwhile. I would recommend this to anyone that likes the magic/fantasy themed offerings.

Brand is a worthy hero who takes the reader on a great trip through battles and quests to share a besieged city. Evil takes many forms.

I enjoyed reading this book as much as all the others and am looking forward to reading the next book and am now a very good fan.

What a mind they must have been some wicked mushrooms this is a saga in the true sense. a world where you meet new people and the next thing they have there own set of books which explain how they got to where they are. and how the stories change keep writing and I will keep buying

Poor characterisation and unconvincing plot - relies too much on so called magic. I am trying to finish it, but I get boored _ not a good thing for any book.

Interesting story and characters well plotted with plenty of world building opportunities to broaden the series available will be reading the other books in the series.

Not to bad but as a Feist fan I'm a bit hard to please I suppose.

A story brilliantly told. Onto the next series now. But looking back what a brilliant deal 99p for a trilogy of this quality.
