Shortest History of Europe: Towards Theory for Global Leadership

A very enjoyable and informative read racing through European history. Centred really on Greece, Rome, Britain, France and Germany, but rather light on Spain and Italy, and very little if at all on Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. Good for making connections between key historical movements and concepts, such as The Renaissance, The Enlightenment and Romanticism leading to nationalism.

Libro di facile comprensione anche a coloro che non sono madrelingua inglese. L'autore propone una visione storica dell' Europa in modo curioso e completamente diversa da quella scolastica. Lettura consigliata.

Als Einführung in die europäische Geschichte ist dieses Buch sehr empfehlenswert. Die Erklärungen zu den grossen Geschehen sind für mich auch aussagekräftig.
