I have had this for a few months now and I can say it is fantastic! My pond is about 3000 gallons so right in the middle of the range for this aerator. When I 1st put it in the KOI avoided it because it put out a LOT of bubbles. I actually expected this to be louder than it is and was surprised that my waterfall totally covers up the sound from this unit.I didn't like the way it looked so I bought one of those fake rocks to go over it and I can say this was all around a great purchase. The water is clear consistently and the fish definitely seem much more healthy. I will keep this running through the winter because it is so quiet.

The hose could be longer.
