S7 Mesh (Wifi 5)
My main router (zyxel wifi5 provided by Airtel fibre-300mbps) was outside my room, and there were still plenty of dead zones in specific corners, especially the reading corner of my room (probably due to the thick brick walls). I had researched quite a lot, and ended up with buying a single unit of the Deco S7 at first.Connected it via a Cat6 Lan (with the main router), installed the Deco app, and the setup took less than 5mins. The main router 2.4 Ghz range was plenty, but what I lacked was the speedy 5Ghz.Although the S7 is dual mode, you can programme it to work in only one Frequency (5Ghz for me). Concrete brick walls are not even an issue now. Excellent throw. Now, one info is that if you have multiple floors, S7 has excellent horizontal spread, but less of a vertical spread (not too bad, but still less if mono-5Ghz used). Unless you connect multiple units via Ethernet from the primary. (If using on purely satelite mode, ie Non-ethernet, I will not recommend this). Wall mounting the M5 would be better (since S7 doesn't provide a wall mount).3 Gigabit ports per unit works great (Disclaimer: Not exactly 1Gbps as the company says, slightly lesser). No hiccups. The unit's Wifi transmission is as good as the M5. M5 has more antennas, but not much real time difference (if ethernet back haul is used). The latest 1.4.1 firmware update of the S7 Deco has cleaned out most of the bugs. No drops of internet seen till now. And even if you are outside, and not connected to the wifi, you can still control the wifi settings (included in the new update)..."beware children".Provision of Parental Controls, Sleep time, Guest Mode, Network Optimization will be a benifit for those who need it.Also, in case you still have a main router, try not to use the primary Deco S7 as the router, and stick to the AP mode. I have heard complaints of when the S7 gets used as the router. For AP mode, it's brilliant. Or, you can just set the main router in bridge-mode (no wifi), and let the S7 units do it's thing.P.S.Every unit has its own proprietary power pin, so click a picture of the power adapter values, and buy an extra for emergencies (cheap enough).Overall, a good purchase.

Best DECO S7 ( i am using with Mi router as repeater )
This router i received without package condition and bax was open however i have found the product working genuine. i have tested with 50 mbps and 100 mbps plan it gives 47 mbps and 97mbps in both plan.i will recommend to buy this router for 5g systema and good interactive. i will give zero and poor rating for the packaging for the product and i am worried about the product warranty as it was tempered.over all product is good just experience is not that excellent.

The best!
This is hands down one of THE BEST router you can find on Amazon under ₹5000/-. TP-Link is a well known and reputated company and their DECO lineup is one such offering. I purchased the DECO S7 on Jan, 2023 and I kid you not, till date I haven't faced ANY issues whatsoever. Amazing Wifi coverage (Both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz). For a rough prospective, we live in a 3bhk home and the 5Ghz band manages to reach our 3rd room as well without any issue. We currently have 200mbps plan from Airtel (& before that BSNL Fiber 300mbps), and till date we haven't faced any issues regarding the coverage and speed of the internet. Of course, that also depends on your ISP.All in all, it's a great device and customers who are in the market for a new router, just close your eyes and purchase this. It's a no brainer. Instead of spending thousands of ₹ on a “Gaming Router” or any other expensive ones, just go for this and call it a day. Also, in case if people didn't know, or missed out on this key information due to lackluster description on the Amazon product listing:“ALL DECO PRODUCTS ARE COMPATIBLE WITH ONE ANOTHER.”Meaning if you purchase this, or any other DECO lineup products, they all are Mesh Compatible with one another. For example, if you purchase DECO S7 now and later down the road purchase the DECO XE75, once plugged in, they both will communicate with each other and provide you the Mesh connection for your entire household. This all can be controlled with their DECO app as well which is available for both Android and iOS users.

The secret is in the 5ghz!!
Well, I just bought it, but have experience enough to explain what's happening. The signal offered is merged into one signal (2.4 and 5 ghz). If you want, there is an option to select just the 5ghz network, that's where the magic is. All the devices are now connected to 5Ghz in my home. Signal is the strongest when there's no walls. But 5Ghz, even after walls, offer around 50 - 80 mbps (I have a 100 mbps plan).ofcourse, the range etc is better than a normal router. A 1500 sqft must be adequate, 2000 sqft is a bit exageratted!
