Makes tamping a whole lot easier. It's easy to clean and very tidy.

Just an average silicone coffee tamper mat BUT with a raised portafilter holder made from dense silicone. Never liked those mats reaching beyond the counter to fit the portafilter spout while tamping. This just sits fully on the counter and works well with the original Sage portafilter, sure works with other types as well. Definitely a great idea.

Easy to clean and grips well to bench

I can only speak to my experience. I have a Breville Barista Express and I use the stock portafilter. This thing is PERFECT for making tamping a breeze. It doesn't collapse under the pressure of tamping. It cleans easily. It fits the Breville portafilter perfectly.Highly recommended for Breville BBE owners.

It offers a good support to portafilter. Material is good. Dimensions too, even I would like a little more wide larger.

Not for all Porta filtre types

I have tried many tamper mats and this is by far the best. So easy to keep clean as it is all in one piece (I pop it in the dishwasher regularly). The only thing I miss is that I would prefer to have it in white.

Much more practical than my wood tamping station and easy to clean in the dishwasher or with a little soap and water. Works perfectly with both a bottomless and OEM Breville portafilter. The portafilter "holder?" Is sturdy and does not collapse when used for tamping. Would have been rated 5 stars except the base of the mat is a little on the thin side and doesn't sit flat on the counter. One corner curls up slightly. Not a huge deal but something to consider before you buy one.
