There is no thread for these.
I bought a cheaper one from another store. These work up real well. This is my second ones to purchase. They wash up true to their color.

You Can Never Have Too Much Yarn
Cotton yarn is perfect for making dishcloths or any decorative cloth. It is much better than acrylic for a decorative cloth. I always roll a ball from any yarn I buy, to check for breaks or weak spots. There were no breaks or weak spots in any of this yarn.I had oodles of cotton yarn, but I got it in my head that the cat needed a blanket to lay on, so I crocheted a cat blanket to use up all the odds and ends of cotton that I had after making dishcloths until my partner told me to stop, and I made a cloth for each apartment in my building, 21 cloths, and I still had enough cotton to make the cat blanket. Then my partner said, "we have all these cloths," and he pulled about 12 out of the closet, "but no potholders." SO. I jumped at the chance to buy more cotton. After 5 potholders, my partner said that was enough. So then i used up the rest of the cotton making my mom a potholder.Anyway, I am rambling on, but here is a tip. If you are going to knit a decorative cloth, use a smaller needle. I prefer my worsted on size 5s, though 7s are the "recommended" size. I've seen some patterns say to use a size 3 with the worsted weight cotton for a decorative cloth. Smaller needle = tighter design = more "pop" in the design.

Easy to work with…
I have used this yarn for years to knit dishcloths. It is easy to work with and machine washes and dries. LOVE it and would not use any other yarn for knitting!

Love this yarn
I like this yarn to make wash cloths and soap bags for a local women’s shelter. It is soft and strong and lasts along time.

Still great yarn but too much online
I use this yarn all the time and during lockdown when I couldn't get to my local craft store I bought it online. I was disappointed that it was more expensive everywhere I looked online than it is in the store. So while I recommend the yarn, I don't recommend buying it online. In the store it's anywhere from $0.99 to $1.99 per skein.
