Hand sanding is ideal for smaller areas, but when you have whole walls, ceiling or floors to prepare before decorating, this trade quality sanding head teams with an extension pole to enable you to do the job much more quickly and efficiently and without the hassle of going up and down ladders or platforms. Made from aluminium so it's lighter than steel, but mould cast as a single piece to easily withstand heavy duty use, it's great for smoothing out imperfections on plastered walls and ceilings prior to painting, as well as wooden floors prior to staining or varnishing. With a screw fitting compatible with all standard thread extension poles - including all ProDec poles - it features a 360 degree omnidirectional swivel bracket for fast, efficient coverage with minimum user fatigue. Compatible with sandpaper, aluminium oxide and virtually all other types of abrasive paper, the 9.5" (240mm) head gives a big surface area to cover large areas in minimal time. The underside features a cellular rubber pad, which cushions the paper and ensures smooth, even contact with the surface being sanded for maximum efficiency. A simple yet effective clamping system using wing nuts at either end secures the paper in place.
